Oh FFS, I have two machines that I bounce between at home.:moneyrat:
:moneyrat:This is surely a mistake, right??
Terrible regional pricing and shitty DRM?This is surely a mistake, right??
Anyone who still believes that the consoles will launch in November or December should stop dreaming.Voices of reason !
But then again I can get a Rift today, who knows when they will available again
Edit. I mean maybe I'm a tad pessimistic with this and my fear of new consoles delay the other day, but look at that.
DAYUM
Unacceptable. Really, really unacceptable. This is why I was against that particular form of DRM, and the potential for this kind of abuse of its capability.:moneyrat:
Better buy that 9900k I guessAnyone who still believes that the consoles will launch in November or December should stop dreaming.
MAYBE they do a paper-launch. But the consoles need hundreds of different parts, even if they miraculously jump ahead of Samsung AMD and Apple in getting those parts, there just needs to be one part that is still not available to tank the whole show. They can't just use another part like a PC manufacturer, and if it is a nand or RAM supply issue, goodbye until middle next year.
This is insane, PC gamers change their system all the time. Surely that can't be lifetime activation.Unacceptable. Really, really unacceptable. This is why I was against that particular form of DRM in particular, and the potential for this kind of abuse of its capability.
It's also a method that is inherently hostile to virtualization unless I'm mistaken. Say you are using GFN or another cloud provider : each time they spin up a new VM, the underlying hardware ID is going to be different since your data moves around based on availability. This is insane, PC gamers change their system all the time. Surely that can't be lifetime activation.
It's all too common to change motherboard or reinstall OS on PC, no PC game can lock you out of this for that.
I can't believe it. I just can't.
I guess I'm out of the loop, but I have no idea what game you're talking about.:moneyrat:
Is this because of Geforce Now or just 505 being shitty as usual:moneyrat:
Death Stranding PCI guess I'm out of the loop, but I have no idea what game you're talking about.
I guess I'm out of the loop, but I have no idea what game you're talking about.
I knew it could not be that insane. Denuvo is never good news though. It is fixed. :sweatrat:
For now. I'm relieved, I have to admit, but the fact the capability exists at all means this could change again. It is fixed. :sweatrat:
The combat system is better than ATB which is absolutely dogshit.
i guess wonderfull patching and gamefile systemI don't understand, why does uplay need to download the whole game again just to update it?

Li Wenliang (李文亮; 12 October 1986 – 7 February 2020) was a Chinese ophthalmologist at Wuhan Central Hospital who on 30 December 2019 warned fellow colleagues about a possible outbreak of an illness that resembled severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), later acknowledged as COVID-19 on WeChat. The licensing agreement for the embedded software in Tom Schwarz’s John Deere tractor has him frustrated. “This contract between you and Deere defineswww.producer.com
And this is why copyright law should get renewed for 2020s.I also think It's basically going to force the question about licensing with stuff a lot sooner, by licensing I mean do we as players actually own anything when you buy a game (However confusing that is) you're simply granted access to the game and content but you don't own it.
Like how Adobe does it with their licenses and other program companies. John Deere does it with their tractors, you basically own a giant hunk of junk unless they continually give you access/get paid.
