In other news, I'm still missing one of the Ace Combat 7 DLCs, the one that was supposed to be a pre-order bonus, but is now part of the launch edition, which is granted to all purchases until early March.
I bought the Deluxe edition from Voidu, and didn't get it. I've seen people who ordered from Fanatical, and the Razer game store, and didn't get it either.

Hopefully they will fix this soon.

I'm happy Ape Out is finally coming out. I remember playing it at a E3 or a PAX three years ago and being told "it'll be out soon".

It's good people smashing into walls fun.

Metal Slug? CHALLENGE ACCEPTED

I'ma start that sucker after lunch then it's straight into Hard West.

If you have the game via Humblebundle.com at least, I'd recommend playing the ROM using an emulator of your choice such as Final Burn Alpha, MAME or through RetroArch

While I'm at it, I should also get around to playing Wild Guns this month.

How come I'm the only Computer Cowboy on here? Where yo stylish cowboy hats or sombreros?!

This month seems very busy, always good.
Dunno what I'll play beside Yakuza Kiwami though.

But since I forgot:

-Finished Pillars of Eternity 2.
Loved it in general, lots of fun to explore and nice writing but combat really is a mess more often than it should be. And I can't imagine the turn based patch being anything else than absolute misery.
When you have multiple characters attacking multiple times every second? How the hell is that going to work? I can already tell that the secret battles are guaranteed to go for 1000+ turns, which is just... not really doable.

Haven't finished anything else though. Slow ass january.
Tales of Vesperia should be done soon, third act ongoing, and fuck, this game is long. Also the shoddy story is more of a pretext to move the action than really a defining point... definitely a weakness. One of the few, but still.

Great title. I really hope that "hyper-toxic pro-consumer" gets a lot of use.

And now let's return to the daily dreading of new Epic store announcements.

The new Far Cry game almost tempts me and I haven't played the recent games in the series, but there are no Steam Achievements so I think I'll pass for now...

Glass Masquerade 2 is a must buy however :smiling-face-with-heart-shaped-eyes:

And regarding the challenge for Dishonored DotO: I completed the game last year and I do have the achievement, does it count? :face-with-stuck-out-tongue-and-tightly-closed-eyes:

And now let's return to the daily dreading of new Epic store announcements.
Or, instead of getting upset about some developers and publishers who couldn't care less about their PC customers, and are easily bought, we can always spend a little more time anticipating the great titles that are released every day on Steam, GOG, itch.io, and other stores, from developers who are worth supporting. :)

It almost seems like these companies are being rewarded by us for their customer-unfriendly practices by getting all this free publicity.
Meanwhile, those who thankfully haven't followed the same path are releasing their games, and not getting much traction, in terms of awareness.

I admit I'm guilty of getting a bit upset this week, both with Metro Exodus (because of its relation to THQ Nordic, a rare company who, up until now, I saw as an example of good customer support), and Operencia (because I beta tested the game, and was looking forward to it), but you know what, after a short period I frankly couldn't care less.
Between great indie launches, games leaving early access, and weekly sales, there's no shortage of titles to buy (I'm already up to 5 new purchases this week, and I'm eyeing a couple more).

Hey, it's my first new steam thread here, I like that :minos_cozy:
congrats! :D

Looks like a nice solid month. You all are tempting me to buy Glass Masquerade 1.
you absolutely should ... it's not a long game, so you can easily finish it before the sequel drops (not that it matters - there isn't any story, lol)

Tizoc *ahem* My tag/title changed when the infamous post went up over there last month 'cos i'm a sarcy bastard :)

I'm with FunktionJCB , i'd rather try to have a more positive vibe here as there's plenty of places to point out the Epic Stupidity going on. I'd like to foster some kind of PMA here if only to recharge my batteries. Sure bitching and moaning is par for the course and i don't want a rainbows and robocops riding unicorns echo chamber but some cheeriness would be nice.

It's a very pretty and relaxing game. It took me around 5 hours to complete the base game and DLCs :coffee-blob:

Oh, the "dreading" was more for the aftermath threads on Era than anything else :) . I actually did increase my buying (both from indie and publishers) exactly to try to show support to those developers.

So far over here even when we are bitching and moaning it still is a *lot* more positive. We simply acknowledge what is going on, discuss the the most important things and move on. Not having to deal with the trolls makes all the difference.

And yes, it is nice to have here to recharge.

For those anticipating GOD EATER 3, owners of the previous game on Steam will get a 20% discount.

GOD EATER 3 :: Get 20% off on GOD EATER 3!

Not bad. (y)
It's always great when publishers reward customer "loyalty" with an increased discount.

I know some people were worried about Biomutant becoming Epic store exclusive.
Obviously, things may change in the meantime, but THQ Nordic just posted the following:

So, both Steam and GOG users should hopefully be covered. :)
