News - SHEEPO (pacifistic metroidvania) - releasing August 26
Sheepo is a quirky metroidvania platformer featuring a shape-shifting sheep-thing, who must traverse an uncharted planet in order to collect samples of each living species for an intergalactic species database. To capture a creature, Sheepo must find their unhatched egg, which happen to be...metacouncil.com
that's the worst part about that newsQuite shocked they are putting 4A Games under Saber Interactive
The power of proper lighting and separation. Pretty impressive!
I hope that this is a small tease of the game coming to PCs in the future, even though I know this is an old event.Persona dancing game got shadow dropped on PC.
Seems like we will also need a 2020 GPU as well, lest we are content with 2018 graphics.
Do we know if Edge of Eternity has a target release date ?
Same here. Got burned out too many times (including Witcher 3) by GOTY versions that are much better value than buying pass/DLC. I mean, if expansion pass alone is 50 PLN and GOTY version is 60 PLN (sale pricing), I feel as if someone spit me in the face considering I pre-ordered the base game. And then there are even more ridiculous examples like Skyrim, where GOTY was cheaper than buying DLCs alone.I'll just wait until every dlc/expansion/whatever is out before playing cyberpunk.
Same. Hell. still haven't played the whole Witcher series because I want to read the books first. Finished the Last Wish (like it a lot) but did not continue reading for whatever reason lol.I'll just wait until every dlc/expansion/whatever is out before playing cyberpunk.
Never played Dragonborn because of that pricing!Same here. Got burned out too many times (including Witcher 3) by GOTY versions that are much better value than buying pass/DLC. Early adopter tax .Same here. Got burned out too many times (including Witcher 3) by GOTY versions that are much better value than buying pass/DLC. Can this be played as a completely singleplayer game? Is it fun to do so?I played some Remnant: From the Ashes yesterday and at least finished the tutorial and made some progress into the first zone.
I'm really digging the vibe in this one.
My logic tells me that early adopters for goods that are easily infinitely copied should be rewarded instead of punished. Honestly, there are so many games coming out every year nowadays, both new and late ports, and my backlog is so huge, that I see no reason to buy games at launch prices beyond 1-2 titles I'm really looking forward to per year. Out of things already announced, BG3 is the only thing I'm buying right away in 2020.Early adopter tax .
I played the whole game by my self many times, I sometimes entered some random person game just to mess around, I almost got everything, I love this game so much, I'm extremely excited for the new DLC.Can this be played as a completely singleplayer game? Is it fun to do so?
I mean except some early access games I've never seen games being cheaperfor early adopters. I'd be nice but gotta get as much money as possible during the hype cicle. My logic tells me that early adopters for goods that are easily infinitely copied should be rewarded instead of punished. I'm not saying the game should be cheaper. I'm saying that it shouldn't be the case that someone coming to the game a year or more after launch is offered a better deal than someone who was in it from the start and sometimes made all the expansions that came later a possibility in the first place. The Witcher 3 example is annyoing, but at least you still get the expansions marginally cheaper as an early adopter. Cases like Skyrim though, where GOTY version for new players is cheaper than buying expansions separately as an early adopter are absolutely disgusting and actively punish people who made the base game a success.I mean except some early access games I've never seen games being cheaperfor early adopters. Very skeptical about 4A's multiplayer game because while gameplay in Metro is suitable for a cinematic FPS experience, it's completely unsuitable for any more gameplay- and gunplay-heavy environment, which an MP game would likely have.
I get you, but it aint happening. And it's just gonna get worse.I'm not saying the game should be cheaper. They kind of do the same here, but it's more like new customers get a better deal for the first X months, and then they slowly screw them all the same.I'm not sure about other countries, but in Poland it's common occurance with mobile phone service companies that new clients are offered better deals than long-time ones, which I find disgusting. You have a loyal, proven client who pays regularly for many years, and you have a complete unknown, and yet the latter is given a better deal. I change my operator immediately whenever they pull off something like this because it means they don't respect me.
As I said, I buy 1-2 games on launch per year at most nowadays, unless they're late ports with potential DLC and stuff already included, so it doesn't really affect me personally anymore. I still consider it a shitty practice though.I get you, but it aint happening. And it's just gonna get worse.

I'm playing it solo so far. Seems to work great. I don't know if they scale the amount of enemies to the number of available players, though. Can this be played as a completely singleplayer game? Is it fun to do so?
5 crowns for each piece, I only have 5 crowns total, gonna wait for Chell skin, maybe I will have 10 crows by then.
what a toxic developer:cruel:
Why is it always bearded men that handle the 'funny' accounts ?:cruel:

I'm sorry to interject but can I point out how disturbing it is that this character looks like Anakin Skywalker from a distance?
Wait what? So GMOD is being used? It's the year 2020, and the president of the united states is posting gmod campaign videos.
Welp. 4A (and a bunch of others) just got bought by Embracer. news.cision.com
Yeah it was, but fans have been trying to "rebuild" it.I think that there was a PC Bionicle game that more or less told some lore stuff but I think it was cancelled or something.
Development of The Legend of Mata Nui began in early 2000 and lasted until October 2001, when the game was suddenly canceled two months away from its planned December release. According to the game's development team, it was around 90% complete at the time of its cancellation, with most of the unfinished elements being in the game's climax; a planned final battle with Makuta was never developed. The game's cancellation led to the planned story content being revealed through other mediums as well as the gradual demise of Saffire. Heavily promoted by Lego in anticipation of its upcoming release, The Legend of Mata Nui became widely sought-after by Bionicle fans in the wake of its cancellation. In 2018, two developmental builds of the game were leaked online. YouTube community The Beaverhouse went on to found Litestone Studios, an independent video game development studio, with the goal of completing the game with support for modern computers. Version 1.0 of the updated game, Bionicle: The Legend of Mata Nui Rebuilt, was released on August 10, 2019.
Never played TF2 But that skin loooks greattttt
I got that new game for the final round a couple of hours ago, the spinning arms. Down to the last 3, 2 on my platform, 1 on the other. The clown on my platform decided just as the arm was coming was a good time to grab me letting the arm take us both over the edge. Genius play that one.If Fall Guys is so wholesome how come I swear like a sailor every 20 seconds
Right after 30 day mark too.
There you go
YOU LEAVE JESSE ALONE!!!! STUNNING AND BRAVE!!!! SHE IS STUNNING AND BRAVE!!!!!!I'm sorry to interject but can I point out how disturbing it is that this character looks like Anakin Skywalker from a distance?
