First time Ive heard of Utomik | Your Unlimited PC Gaming Subscription
And are the games pirated? Are they selling a sub to pirated games?

Which further proves that they couldn't care less about indies during the PS4 years. And, on top of that, I'm sure that throwing a bunch of indie games in a show where people were expecting to see big first-party announcements from Sony because you have otherwise nothing to show is an amazing way to promote indie games. I've seen State of Play streams brought up as well. I guess people fail to realize that using indie games as filler isn't promoting indie games. "We have updates on The Last of US 2 at the end of the stream" makes indie games before that feel like nuisances. But whatever.
I don't think I'll ever be able to understand what people earn from defending a console manufacturer (or any billion dollar company) even when there's no need or reason to defend it. Like, what do you earn from a system that doesn't promote or support games that you might enjoy? It makes you feel special because you own an elitist console?

Nacon bought Spiders last year so whatever that Steelrising game is going to be, that will be them.
That's nice. Mionix did that first but their products (mice in particular) never felt particularly well engineered compared to Logitech ones.
Demo was extremely promising, hope the full game delivers

Xbox pads are pricey or out of stock, so Game Pass will have to live with Glosc. But Glosc doesn't retrieve the icons
And that doesn't trigger my OCD, no... it's a nuclear meltdown in my brain when I see that.

I think icons in the xbox app are smaller and rounder. But I'm the guy who asks, so take what I say with a good dose of salt.
It's beginning to feel like a chore, anyway. Not sure about the next step. 60 euros for a pad is a little rich for my blood when I have a functional DS4. I could also sit on my OCD and tell the icons to go fuck themselves.
By the way, I just discovered that Spiritfarer on GP is English only, while Steam is Multi. Reminds me of the time when Street of Rage 4 lacked options.

How come? I've never seen an MMO moving to Steam like this. It's like they're creating a completely new world just for Steam.
Thankfully, setting up GloSC is pretty fast once you get the hang of it. If you run into any issues finding the UWP path or anything like that just let me know.
That GW2 account thing is rather silly.
FWIW I played a lot of GW2 at its release and for ~6 months or so after that. I loved the whole WvWvW aspect. And the jumping puzzles

What a huge bummer. I got hyped for nothing. They could've simply made it so that the ANet launcher opens on top of Steam, just like every other MMOs releasing on Steam. I found the official statement here, and it seems like Steam is for new players only indeed.

I don't know how it would work if that was the case. Also currently it's on sale for like 50%, I guess at launch they'll have a sale on steam too, but it seems counterintuitive to do so now

but the "we are doing away with the holy trinity" bullshit soured me on the PVE endgame.
yeah the pve was very lame and felt disjointed to me but i did like the pvp and jumping puzzles.
luckily ffxiv has both of those things...plus they added mechs to their pvp!
I might show little too much knowledge in these matters, but they are misusing the title if it's a gay game. Yay for gay games but wrong use of a kink term haha.

The whole Frogwares thing is a good example of why I'll never agree with the "boycott the devs forever" front (but always be part of the "fuck epic" crowd). You never know how desperately the people working on these game might need the money. If you're a struggling person (so Ubisoft and Gearbox can fuck off) and rich guy Tim comes throwing money at you 'cause he needs to prove his techbro pals that his dick is longer than everybody else's, you take the money and think about the consequences later simply because you need it and I can't, in good conscience, blame them for it.

Didn't detect my DS4.
- I used Glosc.
It still didn't detect it at first but after that t'was cool.
- Then the controls in the pause menu were for keyboard, and I had to push the LMB to validate the tutorials that said to hit Enter (while I'm using a pad, may I remind you).
- Then I died at the second boss form and respawned in an empty room with no way to advance.
There is definitely a lot to unpack here

DLSS high uses a higher base resolution than DLSS low, which results in better quality but lower performance than the low option.
