New Quake seems mostly good! Hearing old games with un-bitcrushed sounds is just so weird though. Same thing with Doom, with a mod that painstakingly remastered all the sound effects by hunting down their sources, it just sounds off.

Say, is it just me or is does the aim in Quake feel a little heavy? There's something about it., and I can't quite tune the sensitivity to feel natural.

Yeah, today I have been discussing this with some internet friends and well, it's interesting because PS__1 account is as old as PS main account but the main difference is that secondary one started buying games as late as August 15th, 2021.

So, while I won't say this is an indicative of anything, this + the update of the developer page + the new 3 games added to the number (which are not DLCs because nothing has been announced) and now this I can safely say that things are moving behind the curtain.

Hopefully an announcement will come sooner rather than later. We had as much as 4 confirmations of more ports, an entire slate and so, it is time for more to come!

(also, the fact they are using Steam for testing things is reassuring for those like me who want their games there)

Oh no...... I made a huge mistake and decided to take a look at Microsoft Solitaire Collection.

Cheap sense of progression and daily challenges. That's going to be a big problem....

And since I think the crappy Xbox app doesn't show my playtime easily (have to go to the Xbox web profile) I probably won't even know my shame until it's too late :disappointed-but-relieved-face:

I learned of my shame years late. It's bad. Like, real bad.

Apparently I have 86 hours in Skyrim, but that has to between at least four different playthroughs. It's just so... paste.

Damn, this game keeps looking better and better. Also, IGN mentioned that Epic Games is giving Game Science "Technical support". Hopefully, that doesn't mean what I think it means :unamused-face:

I've never played Skyrim and I have no interest in playing it.

I've played the first 30 minutes or so of the one when you start out in the prison talking to Captain Picard. Beyond that I've never touched the series. Have no intent on it either. Feels good man
Is this some well known internet troll or just some random person who was banned from their Oculus?

The combat in ALL the Elder Scrolls games sucks. Convince me otherwise.

It was fine for the time back when these were blobbers like Daggerfall, but since Morrowind it has been trash on top of trash.

This Quake update is great,
Isn't Romero doing an expansion or something for it after Sigil 2?
Sure I read that on twitter somewhere

And yet, Dreams is EGS exclusive, presumably. Strange, right ?

But, which games do you expect after Days Gone ?

I still need to see that Dreams being exclusive to believe it.

And I expect GoW, BB or Tsushima, those are the ones that make more sense to me, the Uncharted 4 thing was a placeholder in the presentation, I don't know why people take it for granted it is the next one.

Dunno how much reach eggs store has in China, but missing out on Steam would be a very very missed opportunity.

Best post I've seen today

Not directly related to Steam, but Roblox seems extremely manipulative. The combination of Roblox's extremely high cut, using digital scrip and a system where the rich get richer and everyone else gets nothing makes the Metaverse seems like a dystopian hellscape.

Edit: I see we're on the same wavelength.

I'm sure a certain billionaire CEO will fight for the rights of developers to earn more on Roblox, right?

Is this same model epic wants to replicate with Fornite metaverse? (of course with exception of properly paying creators)

System Shock classic or enhanced edition ?
(not that I will play it, I'm in my fill the ssd phase :confounded-face:)
((but I genuinely would like to know !))
