The same happened to me but my region was already in English so there was no fix, in the end if you wait for a minute or so on every area load the textures load fine, which is not ideal at allSo I was in my route to kill chaos Final Fantasy I Pixel Remaster and everything was fine until I reached the volcano.
And then this happened (the video is not mine, but it's the same problem):
So after some investigating (and finding a steam thread about it) it seems to be related to the culture/region windows is using.
I did some testing and setting my windows to English (USA) and it did fix the problem.
But i find that changing the region of my windows just to play a game seems overkill.
I was thinking on using Locale Emulator but it turns out it doesn't work with 64 bit executable (Yes, this game is 64 bits).
So is there any alternative for Locale Emulator that works with 64bit apps?
Crytek would be stupid not to release them on Steam as soon as they can. Hunt did gangbusters on Steam.Crysis 1 Remastered is coming to Steam. It's a "wishlist now" trailer, so no date. But it's sometime after September 18, logically.
This isn't entirely surprising because Crytek's contract with EA literally says that they have to provide an Origin version a certain number of months after the initial PC release on EGS. Part of their OG publishing contract. And it's in Crytek's interest to release it was widely as possible. It's why they ported them to Switch, for example.
Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 Remastered will be EGS exclusive until late 2022. I'm hoping that the next patch for C1R addresses most of the remaining complaints, and that it releases before the Steam release.
Thanks for the interest! we started posting english reviews a couple of months ago so most of our backlog isn't in english. Let me know which reviews you are interested in and I will put them first in line for translation.Expected to see some @Alexandros review pieces on the news but I guess it couldn't happen. Nvm, I'm dumb previous report got reviews media but no sign of ragequit
Unrelated news aside, Alexandros I've seen some Ragequit reviews on the Curator group and on certain store pages in what it seems to be Greek.
Would be possible to get them in English please?
The only caveat is audience confusion around C1R vs the C1 trilogy existing within the same release window. Hell, it's the exact same problem they have with the Switch version which has a physical release but it's only C1R, and it doesn't come across as being as good a deal as 50USD for the trilogy.Crytek would be stupid not to release them on Steam as soon as they can. Hunt did gangbusters on Steam.

extremely goodHow's Amid Evil?
I never played those I guess I'm a PC....Hereticextremely good
basically a modern-day Hexen/Heretic
I loved it. Fun and pretty easy achievement list too. Even though the game itself is pretty challengingHow's Amid Evil?
As someone who is going through the same currently: very badlyFull work week next week. really curious on how my gaming time will become.
It's amazing. It's got my favorite arsenal of any of the modern retro-style shooters, because several of the weapons have interesting little nuances that give you lots of room to optimize. How's Amid Evil?
First post of the page.Does anyone know when the quakecon broadcasting shit starts up again on steam? I got all excited about the stupid free sticker profile shit and missed it and can't find anything about when/whatever because aparently I'm stupid
They just said in their twitch chat that the Steam stream would start at 2pm EDT today.
MS should just take the L this year and release the game when it's ready. It's not like the game made the best of impressions.Halo Infinite won’t have co-op Campaign and Forge at launch
Halo Infinite won't include a cooperative campaign or the Forge level editor at launch, Microsoft has announced, but the title remains on track for a 2021 release.www.windowscentral.com

I liked the multiplayer flight that they had. It was rough around the edges but that's to be expected. If they have to delay it again then so be it but even if they release it without co-op or forge at launch I don't think that's too much of a deal breaker for me since after I finish the campaign I'll mainly be playing the multiplayer anyways.Halo Infinite won’t have co-op Campaign and Forge at launch

Hulst says that while PlayStation games have had great success on PC, the console versions still are the priority and games will hit there first. “Typically, there have been about two years between the release on our platform and the PC platform,” he says. “But you can rely on us to continue to create platform-defining exclusive content for PlayStation – that's part of the reason why we exist. It’s really important for us to squeeze the maximum out of the platform, to build showcases for the platform, and really let the audience see what these great features are contributing to the overall experience.”

Does the PC version of the remaster still not use the original PC releases suit power wheel? I see the trailer completely skips over it, instead showing Nomad glow red for a second in that cutsceneCrysis 1 Remastered is coming to Steam. It's a "wishlist now" trailer, so no date. It almost feels like that time SEGA promised PC support over and over again and nothing happened until "The Best of Japan" happened at E3 hahaAll that PC talk from Sony and yet nothing since Days Gone released.
yes, but SEGA didn't already have like 3 or 4 ports finished and ready to be released ... sony doIt almost feels like that time SEGA promised PC support over and over again and nothing happened until "The Best of Japan" happened at E3 haha
Yeah, too many confirmations, too many names and yet they are slow as a snail .

Nononono. It's actually AAA publishers who are helping everyone. By issuing DMCA takedowns to modders and re-releasing past titles with exorbitant regional pricing. Yes. PC gaming is saved!
