Your visualization is missing the best title on the list though :crying-face:

By the way, has anyone seen any news regarding No Straight Roads for Steam?
The devs just started twitch streaming a few weeks ago.

From last year:

I guess we'll find out in a few days (the 25th is the anniversary).

While searching for the game, I see people have been using workarounds to get online co-op using Steam's remote play together.

Ahh thats sad, was looking forward to buy it on Steam to support a local studio from my country :crying-face:
I'm there isn't any email address to contact them, right? I can try reaching them and ask.

Yeah, I'm checking their only twitch video and see if I can see something.

Tried the demo of Ultrakill, ah ah, nope, don't want to die of a heart attack :fearful-face:
Funny how I have the same feeling toward it than with Souls-like, I want your levels, not interested in your bosses.

Maybe in easy ? Because I'm sure it won't be easy anyway.
ULTRAKILL is the best fast paced shooter on the market imo. Just wish there was a level editor being released sooner. As the game is taking a long time to finish dev.

I played some Forza Horizon 4 on my XSX and oh boy 60fps is pretty great, I look forward to FH5 and hopefully that has a 60fps mode. The Dolby Atmos support in the game is pretty cool as well.

By the way why do English people drive on the wrong side of the wrong? /S

That's another shooter for the wishlist. Hadn't heard about this game. Just drowning in these lately.
Maximum Action's free play mode is lots of fun, just dumps you in there with lots of guns, an endless stream of fodder enemies, and a family size bag of John Woo shootdodge slowmo.

It's pretty basic in the end, so best in short, bite sized play sessions. But when you feel the need to just fill stuff full of lead for a bit without having to think very much, it's a great choice. Pick it up in a sale!

👀 Standardizing franchise logo?
I hope this means they'll announce those Collection of SaGa/Mana compilations for Steam soon. I finished Chrono Trigger today and (once I'm done doing NG+ and getting all the other endings) I'd love to follow it up with Secret of Mana but since I've never played it I'd rather play the original version first. Plus, the FF Pixel Remasters and Chrono Trigger kinda got me in a retro JRPG mood.

The best part is that this is Square-Enix, so I can't just assume it'll happen eventually. I could see them just keeping them exclusive to Switch permanently. Maybe due to Nintendo being involved, maybe for no reason whatsoever. Who knows with this company?

Unfortunately Nintendo is indeed involved. According to this interview, SQEX got the code of Mana from Nintendo archive. I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same case with SaGa Collection.
11. While the Secret of Mana remake was not on Switch, Trials of Mana is thanks to fan feedback over the lack of Mana on the console. Oyamada said that Collection of Mana was Switch-exclusive because they had to actually get the code for the games from Nintendo, meaning the Switch made sense.
Imagine Nintendo sitting on a gold mine but refusing to have a virtual console service on Switch...

Wait. So did Nintendo actually own the code or did they just happen to have a backup and kept it hostage from S-E? The latter sounds too insane to be true but I can't rule it out completely coming from Nintendo lmao.

Like, at worst I could see an agreement involving timed exclusivity for doing them a solid but permanent seems a bit much.

We will probably never know the story behind, but Nintendo policy are always crazy. SQEX not reserving their code also sucks. I think we have heard the same story for a few times lol.

Good to hear! I’m not expecting much more than an average game and that’s a-ok with me

With Aliens and King’s Bounty releasing today, it’s going to be a great gaming day!
Be sure to play co op though, I can see it getting a bit tiresome solo.

Was thinking about Deathloop lack of hype (PC Gamer says it's low on Steam most wanted list, 38th position maybe) for a second. I wondered if the black protags cast hurt the game, which would be horrible. But I remembered I too am super not interested, because there is a fucking warning right in the title, 'Loop'. I'm not interested in Outer Wilds, nor in 12 minutes, and if it's the same thing in fps form, then nope, not that excited.

That leads me to my question (holy warm up for a little question, Batman !) : did Arkane talk about some elements of progression between loops ? Or is it 'only' yeah at that time in the game this character goes there, I can exploit that knowledge during another loop, etc.

Why i hate that every company under this sun wants their own app or account

Arkane didn't do good job with explaining core gameplay loop. For example many people still think that game is open world but it's not it is basically set of levels and time only moves when you change area/level. Add to that lack of next-gen features and you can see how mainstream people would lack i interest i it. It also doesn't help that it's not on GamePass.

I get the feeling it’s in part Deathloop conceptually missing the mark for audiences who like vent-crawlers as well as those who just want shootbang that feel good to shoot guy. As someone who really likes Arkane’s games, this one’s leaving me pretty cold. It also looks a couple of notches too complicated for people looking for an actiony or flashy cinematic romp.

They liked this tweet, and the PS5 version has a store page now (Sept release date). I wouldn't be surprised if The Touryst hit Steam soon.

Hopefully but someone should ask them for Steam only and see if they react too.
EDIT: Just asked and see.

purchased dishonored 2, played 1 ages ago, and couldn't play 2 because of the optimization mess it was at launch. Hopefully, my experience will be smooth this time around, because I really loved 1 and wanted to play this for a long time.
They smoothed it out for the most part.
Check on Steam forums for specific fixes.

Regarding progression between loops in Deathloop. You can keep weapons, powers, skills but it depends on some currency or whatever. So more you play, more things you get to keep basically.

I figured (hoped?) it would be one big level with one person having objectives and the other trying to track them down and then preventing them from achieving those and after reading this i'm now even more confused about the game.

Is 4k/60 more or less the same than 1440/120 ? In horsepower required, I mean.
...yeah, not big on math.

Just trying to gauge where I will play some demanding games.

I was interested in playing something in couch potato mode, it has been ages. It was also the perfect occasion to start this Halo replay I keep delaying.
Then I saw the size of the Major Collection and breathed in a bag for 15 minutes.
