imo this is a reflection of how 'meh' SW2 was rather than genre fatigue.
City Builders are really my jam but this one is so in depth on a micro level that it may even be too much for me.
Def. the Dwarf Fortress of the builder genre.

Truly, waiting for a game is the best game of them all (closely followed by buying games, while playing them trails far, far behind).
yea it's definitely a bit overwhelming but the difficulty options mean you can get a fairly typical city builder experience if you want to

i can't date high schoolers like in p5r so what's the point anymore

i cancelled it for real, i'll rather preorder it digitally so i can actually play it day 1 instead of waiting till the 26th
i mean, it's literally waiting 15 days extra for essensially a bag i'll never wear and a book i'll read once
Depending on the shortage of consoles due to COVID, it could very well happen sooner.
Yea Sony's big first party stuff is very expensive. Its not sustainable for them to release a new Horizon game and only sell 3 or 4 million copies. They need them to be like 8-10+ million. And 8-10 isn't happening until Sony sells like 60+ million consoles.
Its a huge reason all their stuff is still cross gen. But the experience on PS4 isn't good anymore. It hasn't been for years so selling an extra couple million copies on PC could be a big deal for them. It could literally be the difference between making a lot of profit or just making a little.
Even if not day n date I can see something like 6-9 months. Waiting longer only hurts. There is always a lot of risk with these big games if they are mediocre and don't have 10 out of 10 reviews they will sell even less.
I haven't used my PS5 in like two months. Didn't help that one time it started smelling like something was burning.
More Phantasy Star than Xenoblade Chronicles X, imo. TriAce's battle system should be fun. Looks forward to hearing more.

There does seem to be a common link between their EGS esclusives being linked to Nomura, but I think the real reason is simply that Epic doesn't bother moneyhatting games which they feel are not worth it. Star Ocean would not move the scale in favor of the EGS but KH should, or at least this was the plan. Same for TWEWY, FF CHAOS, probably FFVIIR, and that's also why they ignore games like Actraiser, or anything Mana, or even DQ
Epic pays them for games Nomura is involved with, They put the scattered few titles that run on UE4 on there because EGS subsidies the UE4 cut so why not, and everything else is Steam exclusive because EGS isnt worth the effort.
Ah so its only Nomura games that they moneyhat, sucks that FF7 remake and FF16 will be timed exclusive then...
Looks like Star Ocean took a page from Xenoblade (X) in world design and style. Might be neat.

The cyborg people never really had a huge plot thing besides we love tech and hate super earth
one of the factions you fight in the "forever" war as a helldiver for superearth is cyborgs which used to be humans, with the others being bugs

Star Ocean Divine Force looks a bit framey but it's early days yet and dunno what platform that was so i'm not that bothered and it does look great but you asses got my hopes up with XCX comparison and i can kinda see it but it's more Phantasy Star to me but who cares, it's probably a Day 1 for me.

EVGA is dead to me
Way too many stability issues with my 3090 over this past year, combined with all the reports of New World (And possibly more games to come) snuffing out EVGA 3090's - And just had another scare where I thought my 3090 had finally Gone-Lemon on me as it got stuck at the dreaded 210 Mhz reported in several Dud-3090's. Thankfully it turned out to be a software issue with Precision X1 capping power-draw to 20% by its own volition somehow which I've fixed, but Jesus F. Christ, EVGA, why is your software doing that on its own?
All my experiences thus-far and all the reports from others indicating a complete disregard for QC is sending me back to MSI or Zotac for my next GPU upgrade - 40xx if this 3090 kicks the bucket by then, 50xx if it manages to survive that long.

That sucks to hear I remember when EVGA was pretty much the best manufacturer of Nvidia cards. There's a Youtuber I watch whose EVGA 3090 XC3 Ultra came DOA. If I ever get to buy a 3080 I'll try to go for the Asus TUF model, that seems to be pretty solid.
From what I'm reading seems no one from GMG actually got a preorder key. You should contact support, it's likely something has gone wrong. I don't know if other key sellers have this issue or not
