Remember when AC was a cool, new, unique IP?`Sounds like a story from fantasyland nowadays
Yeah I remember when I first heard of Armored Core. Like I wasn't so interested in the first Animal Crossing, but I liked the one on Gamecube. Assassin's Creed 2 is when it really clicked for me. Like I remember when it was Air Combat! Asheron's Call was a jankfest but I still remember exploring the wide open environments fondly.

Speaking of AC, the first 'big' game I finished on Deck (after some VNs and card games) is Ace Combat 7. I dropped it a while ago on desktop because I was having random crashes so playing the same thing portably at 60FPS with no issues was neat. Only other game in the series I finished was the Ace Combat 2 remake on 3DS so clearly I get on better with these games when there's a handy sleep mode

Folks don't sleep on Little Noah: Scion of Paradise. It was shadow dropped this week and it's an addicting roguelite.

The levels are very simple, mostly of the time you will be in a room where the main objective will be defeating all the enemies in said room, sometimes a challenge will pop up like defeating all the enemies in a certain amount or defeating everyone without getting hit, by completing the rooms you get chests.

The combat is the best part of the game, you don't attack the enemies directly for most of the time, you use 'Lilliputs' instead. Each one will have an element associated with and have different attacks and skills. Let me explain it a bit better, Ratty is one of the Lilliputs you get its attack is pretty simple, just a fast slash but if you equip it in the skill slot the attack will change.

The art kind of remind me of Bravely Default series so the chibi style may be a negative for some people.

The resolutions in parantheses are what it's actually rendering at, and what you need to select in-game to actually use that (DL)DSR mode.
Well then I'm even more confused now because those resolutions aren't showing up as options in games. I mean, they are in FFVIIR but that game lets me choose a bunch of resolutions all the way up to 4K even with DLDSR off so I'm assuming that's just its own options.

But in Monster Hunter World, for example, it normally caps off at 1440p but with DLDSR on the new resolution option is 4K. Here's the same behavior in Hitman 2's launcher. Left is DLDSR off, right is with 2.25x (2880 x 1620) on:

You can understand my confusion lol. At this point the only explanation I can think of is that NCP is using my second monitor's 1080p resolution as a base for the options it offers, for some reason...

edit: Yeah, that might be it. Turning off DLDSR, moving NCP to my main monitor, closing and relaunching it makes it show the correct 4K resolution next to 2.25x. But if I turn it on, close NCP and relaunch it (on the same monitor) it's back to 2880x1620 lol. Just gonna chalk this one up to NCP being weird, I guess.

Yeah, that makes sense. I feel like NV should offer more fine-grained control over DSR and DLDSR resolutions (both source and target, and independently per-display), but maybe it would be too much for most users.

I keep thinking it’s hilaous that Munechika is in this game since that makes her one of the people

(huge Utawarerumono Mask of Deception/of Truth spoiler don’t click unless you finished the games)

that has known Oshtor the longest and makes it all the more embarassing for her not realizing who is under Oshtor mask

Curious to what's going on with a Steam release for Arcadegeddon. Game looks a lot of fun and is out of early access on july 5th.

Well worth, deserved a better remaster tbh but I'm glad people are still jumping in.

Ironic, Epic moneyhatted 3 Annapurna games, but the big one (Stray) is not even releasing on Epic as of right now.
Did Epic buy exclusivity for any recent Annapurna games, or only the first batch before the PC gaming community started raging against Epic's moneyhatting?

Nothing new, just the original wave of games which had Solar ash as the last one.

An interesting video that popped up on my YouTube recommendations.
I wish MS would release the re-released one from Windows Store on Steam.

Some minions stuff

I did notice that the movie has been doing well and that there are people dressing like that and messing around.

I say I'm old because I just realized that Despicable Me released in 2010 which is when I was a Freshman in highschool and it's been 12 years now since then. Some of those people that were in elementary school or middle school back then are now in highschool or in college.

Also also growing up they likely liked the minion characters growing up.

So I guess it's their Shrek.

Inescapable is a social thriller set in a tropical island resort. The player will take on the role of Harrison, one of 11 contestants who have been kidnapped and forced to participate in a twisted reality TV show. At the end of their stay, the contestants will receive $500,000. There’s just one catch—on the island there are no rules, and no escape
-------------------------------------------------------------

Will be nice to have all the main games on Steam by then, with Chaos;Head releasing too

What are the main differences?

they'll just release the CERO D version instead of the CERO Z
Valve doesn't give a flying fuck about gore, the issue with all those rejected VNs is universally minors in sexual situations.
We'll see how it goes.

Got a promo code long time ago for Arcadegeddon on EGS. It is a really fun game. Have had a hard time finding out about other platforms outside of PS5 and EGS, but this info was on EGS.

What platforms can Arcadegeddon be played on?
At Early Access Arcadegeddon will be on Epic Game Store and Playstation®5. We will explore other platforms at full launch.

So Im hoping for a Steam announcement soon. Game is out in 2 days.

You know EGS is bad when I have the game already in the library there, but can't bother to open EGS up and actually play it.

Im sure the devs want the game on Steam as the game is actually a lot of fun and good, but word of mouth is dead on PC for it. It being on PS+ Premium might help it a bit, but mainly for PS5 people.
