Now up at 6.7M views, I swear it was still 5.something yesterday.
The song is incredibly catchy (not surprisingly so, it's IOSYS), the dancing animation in the MV is incredibly smooth, and the theme is incredibly inappropriate.

Kuro just debuted. He's a "He", no vshonen but feel free to call him that anyway unofficially, but the brand is still VSJ atm.

Well the basic tldw bullet points for kuro are:

• He's currently traveling in Asia, while streaming, not often but he moves every once in a while but it won't affect his streams much
• He plans to stream indefinitely
• Planned to do IRL streams, face cams and stuff at some point, wants to do meet and greets, wants to attend twitch con and such (next year)
• He'll do collabs, but mostly he will do solo streams since he dislike socializing
• Streams at 9 UTC Daily, they will be 7-8 hour streams
• Rules are that don't babysit him, the usual stuff
• Other general goals/targets like 3D, etc.

Haven't posted much as i've been distracted with housing situation ( sorted for now ), i work in education so the run up to the start of term and the first few weeks of term are insanely busy for us and i have not been well at all for the last two weeks but i'm a lot better now but wow, a lot has happened in VTubering.

Us Pioneers are so happy she continued her activities too. The AZKi project was going to wrap up but they decided to carry on and merged into Hololive proper and it has taken time but it's been an amazing year for AZKi! Her insane GeoGuessr skills have brought her a lot of attention and new people and she had her Major Label Debut recently as she is part of JVC Music Japan ( Victor Entertainment ) now too. Just like her good friend, Tokino Sora.

There is a LOT going on at the moment. Tons of birthdays, anniversaries ( Ethyria 2nd for example ) and 3D debuts and showcases, especially in Holo-ID.

I saw a clip where VShojo Kuro was saying he was £350k in debt with taxes a few months ago before he joined VShojo. He had reached out to people asking for advice etc and finally got the nerve to contact Iron Mouse who gave him a ton of advice and put him in touch with Gunrun who gave him advice, looked over his forms and over a period of months guided and helped Kuro sort out the problem. Kuro said Gunrun had absolutely no obligation to help, Kuro wasn't an employee and he said he didn't even know Mousey that well at all but they were so helpful they really pulled him out of a hole.

I'm sure VShojo has it's share of problems, it's a company after all but good on Gunrun and i've always had crazy respect for Iron Mouse and this story just increased it sevenfold. So i'm not surprised that high-calibre talents are ending up falling under the VShojo umbrella. Good luck to 'em.

Well 2024 started with a big earth quake hits just right after Henya logged off VRChat. She's fine in her region but probably taking precaution today. This was just before her 2 weeks vacation starts too.

I just saw a thumbnail for a clip and was honestly shocked. I really didn't expect Pomu to graduate, certainly not so soon.
My emotional reaction to that (I'm really not the most emotional person, generally) just made me actively realize that she's my favourite Vtuber bar none, when I'd never really thought about it in those terms before.

Of course I'm very hopeful she'll show up again, but she won't be Pomu, and more importantly, she won't be able to collaborate with the same people. Pomu's interactions with Selen and Elira and many of the others are some of my favourite moments in Vtubing history.

Still, I wish her all the best.

This will take some time for me to process. I'm happy that at least she decided to keep her VODs up, Pomu's MGS playthroughs are basically the only streams I ever re-watch.

I think I might just take a hiatus from watching Vtubers in general for a bit at least.

Henya's two week break starts today, but she said she won't travel too far and might end up mostly in her house playing Minecraft (due to fear of more earth quakes and her not wanting to leave her cat behind).

Mousey's birthday is this week so she'll join her for Minecraft ender dragon.

It was a really strong year, although I didn't personally like Twitch all that much before it's grown quite a bit on me, and thanks to VSJ collabs I also get to know more new EN vtubers/streamers, Henya fitting in super well and making deep connections with the VSJ members certainly was a surprise for me, I had a lot of fun, her community has also gotten progressively better even when she's getting big numbers of viewers, it was already decent before but there's also a lot of new communities crossing over.

Hope for an even better year in 2024 for everyone.

Easing myself back into VTubers after a tumultuous end of year and Google's war on ad-blockers hasn't helped either.
I have been watching AZKi though, of course and i've been back watching PRISM Project with some Phase Connect and V-Dere for a little while.
It's been good to be reminded of how much fun the smaller agencies are.
I'll catch-up with Holo and Niji in time.

So I was a bit dramatic above, but I re-evaluated how I feel about this and ultimately, while I'm still sad about Pomu graduating, it doesn't really change whatever else I enjoy. It also helps that she seems to be doing fine on her other Xitter account.

So anyway, I was just watching Rosemi play Tekken 8, and Harada actually watched the stream and joined her chat:

I assume it's because i chatted too many times too quickly and stupid youtube thinks i was spamming. I suppose i'll find out in a day or so.

I can confirm it because i type a comment and do not get the three dots on my post in the chat box, and it doesn't appear on the chat mirror in Pina's stream.
If i choose Top Chat and then Live Chat my post is gone from chat totally.

On any other channel i'd say it's possible but the mod for Pina also chats in the discord and would have told me and apologised if they'd done that.
I haven't logged in since but i'll try to chat in a Live stream in the next day or so and see if i'm still shadow/chat banned.
