Lots of POE2 support in this thread. Everything as it should be :pleasedblob:
I have great hope for it. After the mediocrity laden D4, I need it to be as good as the first one.

Also Hektor you didn't try The Bazaar ? I'm really not clear on what the fuck this is, but it seems CCG adjacent.
I need feedback.

Not so much on Corepunk after all. Just seeing them sponsor a gazillion streamers makes me more than hesitant.

Don’t forget folks, goty voting starts this month! I have a feeling essentially everyone is going to have their own pick for goty so it’s going to be tight race this year .

Woo December. Cheers lashman and take it easy Mor

I tried Microsoft Flight Sim, the 2020 one. Managed to download it and install it which took about 1hour 45 so i had a bit of time left in the 2 hour window to trial it. Spent all that time trying to invert the camera controls with no success. Looks like there is no option to invert which is stupid. You have to go into each setting and re map it. I tried that and it still didn't work so i refunded it right on the 2 hour mark.

Stupid Microsoft.

I suppose Dota Underlords is dead ? Or is it still worth trying ?
Are there auto battler that are popular these days ?
Out of the original ones i think the one still going strong is Teamfight Tactics. But new games like Backpack Battles or MechaBellum are very good and have established a community and i'm sure there are more, just the two i know (and i still play Backpack Battles).

Another year, another attempt at curbing my backlog.
Indy if the reviews are good because Emperor's Tomb was literally two decades ago, and my nostalgia is really curious how Delta Force will end up.

I'm extremely curious how Indy will do. I haven't really followed the previews and such, just saw some lose talk that it's a bit more of an immersive sim than people expected or something.

I suppose I'll play it eventually. I just really can't not hear Troy Baker under there and it's really bugging me. Having the Harrison Ford likeness without the voice is just no bueno.

My SteamDeck seems to have developed a weird problem. I can only turn it on when it is connected to a power socket (even if the battery is full). It's fine afterwards and I can even game on it for hours on battery. Doing a quick Google search shows no results. Guess its time to see if Valve can assist.

Thanks for the new topc lashman !

December time.

Maybe I'd go for the Legacy of Kain Soulreaver remasters if they turn out good. But no rush.

Still trucking in Metaphor ReFantazio though so that will probably be all I get to until the winter sale.

Thanks for the thread lashman

The Bazaar looks similar to Hearthstone in presentation, but a key difference is that when you start a game then you play against both CPU and actual players. As you play, you get to choose new cards, abilities, and powerups to place on the board. The play session ends either when you beat enough players (like 12 I think) or lose 6-8 battles against players.

And Corepunk is more old school MMO. Not much hand holding. Just grab quests and wander around killing mobs and looking for quest items to pick. There's pvp areas. I like it, but it's not a game for everyone. I think they offer a refund as long as playtime is below 4 hours.

With so many (mostly indie but not only) games having mobile/tablet/whatever ports nowadays, I hope we get Steam proper on mobile sooner rather than later. So you don't have to buy Balatro 2x rather than just sign in Steam for example. Of course it will be great to see Tim completely lose his shit over it too :ROFLMAO:

Thanks lashypoo :blobevening:

All these complaints recently about Chinese knock-off games, the biggest one being the Horizon like now. They kinda make me giggle a bit. How easily people forget just how much of modern games have their resource creation outsourced to China. Has no one sat through the credits of Horizon? It's like 2 minutes of Sony devs, and than a billion Chinese names.

"Even the grass looks the same?!" Well yeah... That grass was made in a Chinese render farm lol. This is just the proverbial chickens coming home to roost. Spends years and years paying Chinese devs to slave over asset creation, don't act so shocked when they start using those assets.

That's not even dipping into the fact that I think copy cats are fine. If someone can make a thing better than you, more interesting than you, more fun than you... Take the L.
