There's a new permanent event mode in Neverness to Everness called 999 Nights which is a sort of D&D inspired campaign where you go through dungeons fighting dragons and stuff. It's pretty fun. Wanted to talk about the whole game in the main thread but I don't have enough energy for that so I'll just drop a couple of screenshots of 999.

This is the starting village which sets the tone for the kind of game mode it is

This is the overworld map which has 4 distinct dungeons and a lot of other gameplay elements in between

This dungeon section reminded me of the approach to Boletaria Palace. The level design of all the dungeons is very heavily inspired by Souls games but the combat is ARPG style hack and slash.
