New week, new thread! What are you playing? Vacation week so I had been playing a lot. Main dish was Marvel's Midnight Suns. Despite the solid battle mechanics, the game became quite repetitive after 15 hours. Always the same Hydra enemies / mission objectives with a main plot that barely progressed, it turned stale pretty fast. But the interactions between heroes are pretty good. Not great-written per se, but it's charming enough and I can totally see that fans of superheroes would enjoy...

New week, new thread! What are you playing? Looks like my SRW burn-out had arrived. I returned to Harvestella instead to do some affinity missions and side quests. Man the music tracks are so good. I will never get bored of them.
New week, new thread! What are you playing? During these two days I only played through Pragmata demo twice. Fun game that I will probably pick up within the year. Should be able to return to Super Robot Wars OG1 next week.
New week, new thread! What are you playing? As I'm only playing during weekends, all my focus is on Super Robot Wars OG1. Reached Scenario 17 which means I'm entering the climax of the first half of the game. Can't say I enjoy the game too much because I need to solely rely on Grungust and Cybuster for damage output, and many characters are stuck with mechs (ie. Gespenst) with meh stats. Gespenst is too slow for evasion and too fragile for playing defense, and I don't want to invest to...

New week, new thread! What are you playing? Yesterday I beat the last scenario of Super Robot Wars V, thus completing both ending A and B. Ending B seems to be the true ending and gave an extended post-game scene for all characters. This is the first SRW game I have ever completed and it was pretty great. Overall the game has superb animations, fun characters and story, and easy difficulty in general. I enjoyed it a lot. I will likely go back to the game to play through the other...
New week, new thread! What are you playing? I have been putting most of my gaming time into Dungeons of Hinterberg. It's fairly short so I'm close to finishing it. Doing the late-game grinding now to get all the cheevos (some of the requirements are quite badly designed, imo). Apart from that, the game was quite good. Solid gameplay with surprisingly decent writing and story. As the grind is a slog, I'll be returning to Super Robot Wars V and play the remaining two scenarios. Might be able...

New week, new thread! What are you playing? Continuing Super Robot Wars V. 2 scenarios left to reach ending B! This Japanese guide I am following says this route is more difficult than the other one, but the stage I just did was still pretty easy lol. Also started Dungeons of Hinterberg to shake things up. Played it a bit on Game Pass in 2023. Now playing on Steam. Very nice game.
Sorry it's 10 days late. Another year, let's look at some more screenshots. Any platform, any game. Shouldnt really be an issue as now you can just upload images directly here, but please don't use imgur as us in the UK can't access it anymore. Spellforce: Platinum Edition (PC)
New week, new thread! What are you playing? Continuing Super Robot Wars V. I've reached the final branch which leads to ending A and B. Each route has 3 scenarios and I plan to play both, so 6 scenarios left in total. After 100 hours, the end is finally in sight! Enjoying it a lot. After completing this playthrough, I will probably watch a few anime shows featured here and play some other games before starting another playthrough with the other protagonist.
We just finished a successful twenty-fifth season of the Backlog Blitz. Or series if you're British. What happened during this last quarter that's worth noting? Well, 2025 finally ended. That means this next year will be great, right? RIGHT?! This last year was a great year for indies so will 2025 be a big year for the big publishers? Based on how they've been doing, we'll see. But this first quarter is starting off pretty big as February is heavy loaded. Can't wait for the new Resident...

Because from time to time we actually play games instead of pretending that we do, we all need some space to share our achievements. Feel free to claim a post, and you can update it with the list of the games you have beating during the year. There's no rule for what counts as 'finished', as long as you personally feel you're done with the game. I'll unstick last year's thread but I'll keep it open.
Entering 2026! What are you playing? Continuing Super Robot Wars V. Got both Mazinger ZERO and Mazin Emperor G. They are overpowered and their animations go insanely hard. The stage was the hardest one so far (still not too hard) but holy shit what a satisfying outcome. Finally get the feeling of entering late game as the enemies are getting tankier, but our guns are also getting bigger lol. Soon I need to plan out which units to raise to Ace so that they can be buffed further.
Thread 'Your most anticipated games of 2026?'
2022 2023 2024 2025 Looking back, it is safe to say that a lot happened in gaming in 2025. Good things. Bad things. Good videogames. Bad videogames. Nevertheless, 2026 is right around the corner, and it is time, again, for you to tell us what you are looking forward to play next year! Grand Theft Auto VI Don't delay again, ok? Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly I'm a coward who seldom plays horror games. But being a return of an old classic, Fatal Frame 2 seems too good to miss. Tales...
WEEK 52! What are you playing? Continuing Super Robot Wars V. Just cleared Scenario 28 (/52), so slightly less than halfway to go. The story is great. It has to be a lot of work to consolidate the stories of all these mecha shows into three timelines with convincing background story. There are also some story branches (as expected from a SRW game), and after some considerations, I decided to aim for going through all Cross Ange stages in this playthrough because I have fresh memories on the...
Does anybody know a site that works like Song.Link does ( Example ), but you can link to a video game and it would show you a bunch of store/stream/rental/etc. links for that game? Main reason I'm asking is wanting a convenient way to link games to a mixed audience of PC and Console gamers.
