What the hell is that?
i believe they are just selling Drawkanoid keys on g2a etc. "undercover" ... and those keys activate this game instead ... people aren't supposed to actually buy this one on steam ($99.99 is the max price devs can set on steam without contacting volvo directly)What the hell is that?
A ridiculously expensive game (€84,99 here), that's supposed to prove the point that people buy games from key resellers?
I'm clearly missing the joke (unless they just want to have a "joke" page, for a game none will buy at that price).
I thought it was something like that, which is extremely stupid, and unnecessarily "preachy".i believe they are just selling Drawkanoid keys on g2a etc. "undercover" ... and those keys activate this game instead ... people aren't supposed to actually buy this one on steam ($99.99 is the max price devs can set on steam without contacting volvo directly)
which is stupid because i actually WANT to buy this one (and the real one too) ... looks like a fun concept ... but they're basically forcing me now to go buy the "fake" one on g2a or whatever
no, no ... it's not that ... they're selling THIS game "disguised" as the base game ...I thought it was something like that, which is extremely stupid, and unnecessarily "preachy".
If they sold keys on their website, for a cheap price, I would probably purchase one, and give the game a try, but pricing something ridiculously high (to force people to use other channels), so they can have a laugh, and prove some sort of point (what, that people buy games outside of Steam, when they have the game available for much less than the asking price, which in this case it's something most people would struggle to pay for a game?) is idiotic, and it just makes me not want to give their "proper" upcoming game a try.
Ah, ok.no, no ... it's not that ... they're selling THIS game "disguised" as the base game ...
as in: people go to g2a thinking they're buying this:
but instead they're getting this:
yeah, it's kinda shitty .... i think they were trying to do that "pirated game gives you an eyepatch" thing, but didn't really think this one through too wellAh, ok.
I don't know if that's better, or worse.
Especially if they are the ones selling the game there, and profiting from "conning" people into buying a game, and then provide another.
