Too many PS4 first/only games I still care about to sell mine (Granblue Versus PC when). Probably not gonna buy a PS5 anytime soon though.
Every revenant in Nioh has the same loadout. I don't want to see the same odachi with the same WotW Set anymore
So looks like I won't be upgrading til later this year...if not next year! Waiting for Ampere so I can go for a Ryzen+light rtx capable GPU combo by 2021.
I've got 2009 and pre games I can get my enjoyment from at a steadier 60 FPS without issue on this good ol' GTX 970M throughout the year.

Is a release date announced for the next line of cards? I am also on a 970 :| , was close to buying a 2070S on black friday.

They will be announced either this March at GTC 2020 or in June at Computex 2020.
All you peeps still rocking the 970 have had a damned good run with that card. Expensive at the time but what a workhorse!

Got a 3600 with an ASUS PRIME B450-A in my new prebuilt computer. So far, no issues at all.I just bought a 3600x with a b450 mb and everything is fine so far, the only problem is that I downloaded a bunch of heavy games to test and have been playing Path of Exile only instead.
Limited budget one would assume. What else are they going to use?
I should have sold my cards right away and then gotten them again right away. I had 2 that were about 0.90 each but are now about 0.35. And I could have purchased them with the difference and crafted a badge without spending money.
I think the most valuable thing that I have in my Steam inventory is this one Okami Wallpaper that goes for over $2USD and I have some anime wallpapers that go for about $0.50
There are some that are sort of a mix, they do not look too "anime" but they do not look to low budget and that there was some actual thought to the character design. Most of the decent games seem to have character models that look similar to what you see in Acting Lesson (I think that is the name of the game).
If only the animations, when they talk were not 15fps.

I had just about forgotten KR0. I always loved the atmosphere. I've spent a lot of time in rural Appalachia and so much about it feels so spot on. Can't wait to boot it back up again and finish it.
I got it when it came out at a discounted rate. For what I payed the game was better than I thought.Is the game any good?
The main issues that I had with the game was the 15fps thing in dialogue parts and how in the 18+ section if you are playing in the default mode that those sections don't make sense. where you have to hit a gauge, it's sort of weird since you don't know if you are hitting it correctly (a circle spins and you have to make sure a dot inside of a high lighted area when you click your mouse).
As for the story and stuff itself, it does have multiple ending and some of the choices that you make will block certain endings, so you will need to do multiple playthroughs to get all the endings. You also get 3 save slot and you save in the lobby area.
For what ever reason you can't skip H scenes, and seeing how some of them are mandatory and you have to do them multiple times to get all the ending and stuff it got annoying.
The game basically plays like a point n click with H stuff.

oh and your answers do affect the endings and who you side with (it gets weird)

Hey, I have a great idea, let's create a game for a system you can't play our gacha game on. Most of the player base are PC players, it should be fine.
Let's also release it on different dates globally. People totally won't import it to play it.

Yeah, got my key to the demo.
I'm not so sure about the last-minute addition of those mini-games...
I'm realizing now that I didn't really play very many 2019 games. I mostly played older stuff, took some big breaks, and far too much time in MAME. My GOTY might actually end up being Ace Combat.
A Short Hike is nice but i had to set it to medium pixelation and it still looks gorgeous without ruining the aesthetic.
Now that Act V is coming for KRZ it's eligible to be my GOTY for 2020, sweet. I knew the game would take a while to release all chapters but didn't bank on 7 years.

I give DQB2 a 8/10 so far. It's a great game, has the DQ charm but I'm already getting bored. Potentially it might be best to play this game in smaller intervals. I'm playing it hours at a time and I'm doing a lot of things one after another (maybe burned out is the right word).
I do like the "hand holding and how it gives you a reason to try out new things but it can also feel like you are jumping around from thing to thing though without really expanding on certain ideas.
One of the other thing is that the game is designed so that you can explore but more idea it seems to be made in a way that it wants you to go to certain parts under its own rules. One example of this is went I went to explore an era that no NPC has mentioned yet and then when I found an item it mentioned a certain NPC and how they asked for this item. My logic tells me that this is an area that story wise I will go to later and that I will get this item then, so the cutscene (or so to speak) has happened before I even talk to the NPC who is mentioned and that will tell you to go to the place that I ventured to.
I don't think DQB2 blocks your path ("magic walls") and instead it just makes it so that you can't break materials (I imagine that you can climb the mountains by jumping on blocks).

YOur best bet would be buying X570 boards because it's the one made for Zen2. It's hella expensive though.so how do I get to run Ryzen 3700z without problems?

Don't worry too much, it's not like PS4/Xbox One will instantly become irrelevant after new gen consoles launch. Games will still launch there.
That's what I did actually. Now I just left everything at default settings, which seem to underclock the RAM actually. Hadn't had these resets so far, but I am still waiting, if I don't see it happen this entire week, then I'm fairly certain it was the XMP profile that caused it
I'll be the first to admit that I am waiting for the current poor mobo situation be resolved but I use a 3700x on a 370 gaming carbon pro and it works mainly just fine.
The The new beta bios(s) remove a lot of functionality that they used to have but at least I can use the board mostly pain free. New bios did something funky to my ram settings and I cant get the ram to boot at the speed I used to have it. I'm pretty lazy, so got the ram speed close to where it was before and just moved on. Apart from that the 3700x is working fine despite probably not performing at a level it really should do. I'll resolve that as soon as someone releases a better motherboard, I only really holding off because of the general poor state of them and like I said - laziness.
Try clearing CMOS and don't enable fast boot if you turn it on. Without XMP your RAM won't hit the advertised speed.
Well, holidays are over, time to get back to work! I'll never understand how I always ended up having less free time for gaming on holidays than in usual days lol, always some family matters I need to attend and some stuff randomly happens like a sudden major cleaning in our apartment.

So fast boot is not supported with XMP? Or is it generally unstable. I like the PC starting up fast, but I am fine with slower boot times if the sytem is overall more stable
AFAIK fast boot skip several thing during startup so try disabling it first and see if the problem persist.

Is it me, or has it been a while since SEGA announced new PC ports?
I was hoping for more PC ports of the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio games, but Yakuza 3 Remastered launched 6 months ago on the PS4, Judgment launched 7 months ago, and we still didn't get any news or hints about them coming to PC, right?

Well, didn't we have an announcement for Yakuza on Xbox ? I suppose that's a strong hint at a PC release.

I believe the ports they announced for the Xbox One are Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2, the 3 games already on PC, so unfortunately that's not a big hint about further entries making it to PC.
Could they now be prioritizing the Xbox One ports, and only after completing those will they consider further PC ports of the Yakuza games?
