I know it'd be licensing hell but i think it had an interesting take for an online FPS at the time and was a victim of "Not the Shadow Run we wanted." I heard it was good though and people remember it fondly so i think it'd be a good candidate to bring back.
Sorry, I don't know.
I don't own an Xbox One, so I'm out of the loop on that front.
I did own a 360, that is long broken.
As for the game, I guess I would place myself in the "not the Shadowrun we wanted" camp.
It was yet another online FPS, whose only difference from most offerings around at the time was the use of magic.
But, I can't say, at all, that the game left a lasting, or positive, impression in me. I remember thinking it was incredibly generic, outside of the use of spells.
I would say you really aren't missing much, to be honest.
Rather than shaming I'd ask what other narrative games you've enjoyed - I'm looking for some!
That's a good question.
I used to play long RPGs (it was always my favourite genre), but in the last decade or so, due to lack of time, I ended up spending my time mostly on "arcade" games, with barely any story content, that I can just pick up and play.
The exception is usually point and click games. Or episodic games. Ideally games that combine both.
Or shorter RPGs, like the ones Spiders usually do.
In terms of adventure games, here are a few random picks from the last few years:
-The Wolf Among Us
-Unavowed (you pretty much can't do no wrong with any of the games developed or published by Wadjet Eye Games)
-Life Is Strange
I'm yet to finish Lamplight City (another game I dropped, and need to get back to it, re-starting it really), but it also left a positive impression.
It's a point and click adventure game, in which you can actually fail your investigations, and unlike most games it's not game over, the game accepts and proceeds with your failure. That was a nice "twist" to the usual formula.
