I'm glad Stormdivers has been put in the freezer for the moment, whilst I trust HM to make a good game (and I can enjoy a good BR) I just don't see it being able to survive a launch and not be DoA. I'm curious what they're working on though.
Looks like Square Enix updated a few more games, this time FF IX, DQ Heroes 1 and 2 with official assets.

There's no easy way to sort the library by which games have assets, right? You guys just did the manual work in categorizing them? I'm kind of curious about the status of mine.
Except maybe Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, in the beginning Ezio is basically just all "I'm getting too old for this shit" and that's how they explain how he can no longer do a super high climb jump, and later gets like a wrist support thing that enables it again. It was stupid but I kind of liked it.
Yeah, it's fantastic that Spyro doesn't get a mysterious amnesia in the beginning of every game. I hate it when sequels do that, and they never can come up with a good reason to why you need to learn this thing again.

Yes, manually, although if you have any feedback, I totally recommend you to send it to them, they always love to get new ideas, for real.
this could be cool , but usally Slitherine games are way hardcore than i found fun
I played through it this morning and liked it a lot. I was already looking forward to the full release and I'm even more interested now.
This seems to be more on the "accessible" side for a Slitherine game. The presentation is certainly better than most Slitherine games lol. I'm looking forward to it as I'm always in the mood for a solid 4X.
yeah totally ... its just that usually when i see Slitherine as publisher i am extra carefull :-D as some of their stuff goes way over my head .... and looking at this one i really love designing ships in games like this

The worst thing so far about Astra is the aesthetics and overall UI because even though the presentation is better than a lot of Slitherine published games, it's still a Slitherine published game lol. It's very garish to look at and everything from the icon art to the font choice and the colour pallet kind of strains my eyes and the UI has Slitherine's biggest problem as a publisher that they never seem to solve - there seems to be no UI or UX designers in a 1000 mile radius of most of the devs they publish. The amount of Slitherine published games that actually have a decent UI with good UX that is smooth, intuitive and easily readable are... well, few and far between. It's understandable because Astra is made by a single dude but it's rough to look at sometimes. You can kind of see what I mean here -
Everything else though looks to be up my alley and I might even put my modding hat back on and do some stuff for it if I like it enough,

Sure, but still, drawing everything (including things that would benefit from higher resolution) to a fixed-size buffer and scaling that seems completely backwards to me compared to just having a correctly sized buffer and scaling things when drawing them, as required by their source resolution. Both result in your fixed-res 2D assets being scaled once, but at least in the second case you can have high-quality 3D rendering (and improve individual important 2D stuff like fonts).To be fair to the game, 90% of the time spent in game is in 2D VN sections, and the game was locked to 720p on the PS4 version too.
Just be glad we didn't get a locked 544p...

Can't say Stormdivers ever looked like it would change the studio's financial woes tbh. Hope whatever they work on now turns out well.
I know, it says PS4-only atm, but so did the first one.
Chances are, it'll come to PC after 6 months.
More like around 10 months if Nioh 1 is something to take in consideration.

Hades is so damn good and it seems to have been an enormous success on Steam.

Ive made a few quid on cards using Idlemaster. Is there any particular tactic people use or do i just leave it running through all the games? I know some cards are worth more than others so id rather it concentrate on those first. Is it just a case of manually making it skip the lower value games?
Gonna grab Horace and Yooka Impossible Lair if they go on sale today (Lunar). I use the freebies on Epic as demos (pretty much just like PC game pass) for what to buy on Steam.

I received an email from them earlier today with a flash sale of Resident Evil 3. The discount? 25%.
How was it before this "flash" sale? It was 21% off, and there was a discount code around for 25% off. Which actually gave a... 4% additional discount (it was 25% discount in total, not 25% over the discounted price).
So, the same price.
