poor baby Forzas and other slaves of UWPpretty sure they meant "most of their NEW catalog" (as in: games that are going to be released from that point on)
yeah ... i'd kill for FH3 and 4 on steampoor baby Forzas and other slaves of UWP
yup ... and not just steam just version decoupled from UWP containers , especially after what i saw when they accidentlay pushed "dev build" which decrypted the filenames and allowed through some shanenigans(that are beyond me) mod the gameyeah ... i'd kill for FH3 and 4 on steam
yeah, exactly ... gimme all of them ... even ilomilo (JaseC would be happy with that one being on steam )and not just Forzas , all of them (its ultimately just like 7 titles left) , even crackdown or older Gearses and stuff like Hydro Thunder
MS sure don't, lolBTW: anyone remember Halo Wars 2?
That is a very nice video!I think this is our same BBC guy that pushed HTC CEO into saying HL3 was on the way lol -
That's interestingThe Division 1 Steam sale has abruptly ended desite having about 25 days remaining in theory. I am sad and betrayed.
I think it doesn't make sense, or maybe I misunderstand what you mean by "the whole package". TD1 hasn't been on sale since August last year, and the only reasons I could see for discontinuing the sale would be :That's interesting
Let me say a crazy theory, ok? what if they ended up the sale cause' TD2 is going to drop soon on Steam and want people to move there with the whole package? sale ends March 26 IIRC and Division 2 should be out by March 15, it makes me think that we might be getting this movement because of that.
We will see.
We will seeI think it doesn't make sense, or maybe I misunderstand what you mean by "the whole package". TD1 hasn't been on sale since August last year, and the only reasons I could see for discontinuing the sale would be :
- It was a mistake, just like anime
- They don't want to cannibalize TD2's playerbase
I'm still pissed that they just ended it without warning. It had a planned duration and breaking consumer trust in that information isn't healthy. We will see
it's ubi - why would you have any trust in them in the first place?I'm still pissed that they just ended it without warning. It had a planned duration and breaking consumer trust in that information isn't healthy.
That doesn't really mean much. I mean, if I applied your statement systematically, I can't trust them to keep their games called The Division and it could become The Multiplication!it's ubi - why would you have any trust in them in the first place?
I can't trust them to keep their games called The Division and it could become The Multiplication!
well as i said - it's ubi ... i wouldn't put it past themI can't trust them to keep their games called The Division and it could become The Multiplication!
That was a terrible joke and in my defense, I haven't had coffee.

nothing but trash
fully agree.it's ubi - why would you have any trust in them in the first place?
Give me Freelancer you bastards!I want to know WHERE ARE THE MICROSOFT GAMES? remember when he said that he would bring most of the catalog?
Bah thats a shame. I thought the combat in XV was complete shit. Hated it and made me drop the game. So, that's quite the remake for Final Fantasy VII, huh?
But I dunno about the combat.
Feels like FFXV, which was horrendous... but much improved, so it's not complete shit at least? It's faster, better telegraphed, you have much more control... but still get stuck constantly in animation locks (which is a massive issue for dodging... and it doesn't grant iframes, so it's even worse). Plus the feedback might be a bit improved, but not much. Cloud feels pretty poopy for a dude with a giant sword.
There's an entire back catalogue of MS titles from the 90s and early 2000s that arent available anywhere that I would love to see them put a team on. Imagine, for shits and giggles, MS re-releases Fury3? Why the fuck not? It was a win95 showcase game and gog has shown those games will sell (and I assume they own the rights to it at this point, not whatever became of Terminal Reality).Give me Freelancer you bastards!
not on steam they won't they'd have to buy it firstIt's ok, they'll review-bomb the shit out of it for being VR Only when it launches and make everyone else sad instead.
not on steam they won't they'd have to buy it first
It's not like the game will be removed from the store for purchase or from peoples libraries in 8 months.Watching those Alyx videos is fucking depressing. Broke HL fans on suicide watch right now.
Lol at all the people in the comments complaining they want to convert their Epic copy to a Steam copy.
Lul.
For me VR looks like legit interesting tech that simply doesn't fit into my lifestyle.Watching those Alyx videos is fucking depressing. Broke HL fans on suicide watch right now.
How is it possible to heavy such a healthy and positive view on something that doesn't fit you instead of going "bububu it's vr who cares it's just a gimmick Im gonna watch it on youtube".For me VR looks like legit interesting tech that simply doesn't fit into my lifestyle.
I'm at an age where the disposable income to finance the hardware is not an issue at all. But the barriers inherent to the tech simply make it unappealing at this stage in the game. Stuff like sensory deprivation, completely "checking out" while using the gear. Just not for me.
It kinda reminds of those wicked-cool racing setups some hardcore enthusiasts have. Complete wheel/pedal/shifter setups with racing chair & screen bolted to a cage. Looks not only incredible, but also incredibly immersive. Yet...I have to take a pass as it's not a fit for my life.
Perhaps as VR tech evolves it will pear down in size and have a lower barrier to entry (setup,etc.). It's already kinda getting there with the wireless factor in Quest. Maybe I'll revisit down the road when the scales tip on convenience and ease of use.
But for right now I won't be enjoying HL: Alex. And...I'm completely okay with that. I'm not the target audience and if the insane popularity of Sony's samey AAA Prestige 3rd Person Sandbox-Action-Adventure titles have taught me anything, not everything has to be.
Next time they can... well, you know.... HAVE A BIT OF PATIENCE AND WAIT 6 FUCKING MONTHS if they want it on Steam so bad.Lol at all the people in the comments complaining they want to convert their Epic copy to a Steam copy.
It also happened in regards to Satisfactory Steam announcement, people wanting to convert their Epic copy to a Steam copy.Next time they can... well, you know.... HAVE A BIT OF PATIENCE AND WAIT 6 FUCKING MONTHS if they want it on Steam so bad.
how ? i cant see it might be because surprisingly its not my threadhe can still change the name
I know and, well, they truly don't understand that they bought a copy on a certain ecosystem and if they want a Steam copy they will have to rebuy it on the other ecosystem, it's so simple and common-sense that I can't understand why there's so many people asking for this.It also happened in regards to Satisfactory Steam announcement, people wanting to convert their Epic copy to a Steam copy.
hmmm ... that might be ithow ? i cant see it might be because surprisingly its not my thread
It's pretty freeing to realize that there's already more must-own games out there of personal interest than I'll ever have time to experience in my lifetime. It's truly an embarrassment of riches. All compliments of digital distribution, cheap/intuitive dev tools, and self-publishing (i.e. no more big-publisher gate-keeping).How is it possible to heavy such a healthy and positive view on something that doesn't fit you instead of going "bububu it's vr who cares it's just a gimmick Im gonna watch it on youtube".
Boooo Valve! Let people have their porn.
Now that these high-profile exclusives (Metro, B3, etc.) are starting to get fast-approaching release dates on Steam, I wonder if there will be a second wave of backlash against the EGS when people start to realize that buying into the EGS ecosystem might have been a mistake.I know and, well, they truly don't understand that they bought a copy on a certain ecosystem and if they want a Steam copy they will have to rebuy it on the other ecosystem, it's so simple and common-sense that I can't understand why there's so many people asking for this.

Seeing the same title on a more robust platform like Steam will offer a pretty stark comparison when the only selling point on EGS, exclusivity, falls away. Suddenly people are left with their choices of not waiting, their money already spent. Meanwhile the same game can suddenly be had on Steam with like a bazillion more features encapsulating it. I'm curious if it will spur resentment in EGS early-adopters.
We'll see how Borderlands 3 will perform on Steam. Backlash against who, that's the thing, no one makes you buy it before it comes out on your preferred platform, there's always patience and waiting time until that happens, so, why should Epic, the publisher or Valve give you an additional key? you bought a product cause' you couldn't hold yourself a bit, I'm very critic with companies when they deserve it but this time it's consumer's fault. MAYBE this will teach that people who want to invest on Steam to wait a bit and play other things in the meantime. Now that these high-profile exclusives (Metro, B3, etc.) are starting to get fast-approaching release dates on Steam, I wonder if there will be a second wave of backlash against the EGS when people start to realize that buying into the EGS ecosystem might have been a mistake.
Yes, maybe this will make more people to wait.Seeing the same title on a more robust platform like Steam will offer a pretty stark comparison when the only selling point on EGS, exclusivity, falls away. Valve knows hentai is better
Yeah that's what holds me back from VR too - it just doesn't make sense for how I play games. I can't be wearing something and be that distracted from what's going on around here. I like to be able to check out for a little bit, then pause, do some other stuff, come back to the game in a bit. VR is asking me to commit too much I think. Also I think I'd feel silly whirling my head around while nobody else in the room can figure out what the hell I'm looking at, so it kind of won't work for the casual social aspect of games. For me VR looks like legit interesting tech that simply doesn't fit into my lifestyle.
