Great timing for Steam to go down, I'm on vacation anyway 😉

I've been playing some SNES games on my Vita tho, and it seems I'll stick to Chrono Trigger for now. What a lovely game so far! 😍
When I used a SNES emulator I remember a game called Nosferatu which was kinda janky and then checked on ebay and for some reason it costs quite a bit (the bid I participated on ended on +200 bucks)

Uh, seems like Steam doesn't have a usual publisher end of the week sale for a second week, strange.

I know they have quakecon sale, but that's different.

SNES version rather than the PS1 version I presume?

Disappointing. Game is still cheap enough in my region, but I'm gonna get poor perfomance on my 1070, might as well just wait for a patch and a potential 25% off.

Of course. ☺

It's incredible how many great SNES games I still haven't played. The lack of internet for decent recommendations and the insane prices of SNES games were a huge problem in my youth.

Edit: it seems Chrono Trigger never got a PAL release in the first place 😟

This isn't steam related but I need you guys to help me out please.
I've barely played mobile games and never spent any money on them.
My son does play them though and has asked me on numerous occasions to buy him in-game stuff which I always refused.
Today he asked me again and since I know that he really likes that game and it was only 2 euros I made an exception.
But when I completed the purchase the item was nowhere to be found.
I went to the store again and noticed that next to the price there's a "x10" in small letters.
Now, I'm probably going to come across as innocent here, but surely they aren't showing 1/10th of the price and then asking people to pay that amount 10 times, right?

So much for indies heaven.
The Switch eShop is a shitshow and hell to use, so I only use it when I know what to search after, otherwise I use DekuDeals.

With the lack of algorithms and discovery features, the console digital storefronts will be in big trouble for indies next-gen. It's pretty much just Valve that has been very active in solving that.

Yeah same, I just use DekuDeals for Switch. PSN is also hard to navigate with no improvement since PS3 era.

Really hoping they are finally going to show XVI today
Doubt :confused-face:

Before you get too excited, DON'T EXPECT PC PORTS OF ANY KIND FROM SONY, really doubt that stuff is going to happen in anything but blogposts.

Well it seems that HZD will receive a lot of negative reviews. Can't wait for "review bomb" articles and how "PC gamers don't deserve Sony's games".

So much for indies heaven.
Then they shouldn't tout this nonsense of "best on switch" "Saviour of indies" like they are Stockholm-Syndroming over their Switch presence

I dunno tbh, I haven't really dabbled much with emulators mostly because FGO on NA (until recently) had a SEETHING hate for emulators and wasn't really a good option, only few times I tried them I ended up going back to my ipad

Gameloop (used to be Tencent Game Buddy) has a bunch of options to play mobile games on PC, maybe it will work, don't quote me on that tho'.
