.If you are interested, I think there's a .doc somewhere regarding the reasons behind many people's hostility to exclusivity. It's also not exactly a page-turner so no pressure!

The combat system is a bitch in this game. I tried it on medium and 2 gang boys can kill poor doctor in a couple of seconds. Dontnod should never make a game with combat gameplay again, Remember Me was just as awful.
This is why I tend to steer away from multiplayer games.
Come home after work and an exausting week, do the basic preparations for dinner and clean a bit, sit down to enjoy some Fall Guys mayhem and forget about the world and the servers are dead....

HZD is at 41% on Steam now. Will we see an epic "mostly negative" for the first SIE outing on PC?
Personally I don't mind Game Pass stuff in the Choice, because I don't like Game Pass that much.
Dont have any of the choice games, might go for it! I tried Vampyr but didnt really like it but didnt play much, so might give it another chance.
Nothing. I mean, I do understand why they take Epic's money and I don't blame them. But I won't buy moneyhatted games, even if they come to other storefronts later. I dislike moneyhatting so I won't support it in any way. I didn't even claim Genesis Alpha One and Hello Neighbor on today's Humble Choice. I'm that salty.
I only boycott the moneyhatted games, not any future games from these developers. Does this make me a fanatic or extremist as well?

HZD seems disappointing. Sounds like there are a lot of crashing issues. I want to get it to support these ports but i dont want to support shit ports.
Give it two weeks I think. Sounds like it might be enough for most issues. But I wouldn't expect anything before that.

Oh don't get me wrong, some of the sloppy seconds are games I'd actually quite like to play or have quite enjoyed playing. Just saying that they are games that do the circuit - they will probably be free on EGS in a couple of months.
How long until "analysts" decry Steam reviews over this again?
Unless game performance can improve on following patches its going to get mixed ratings at best, and I'm being optimistic on these too much probably.
I think Digital Foundry might be after something related to game's performace compared to Death Man Stranding. Lets wait to see what they can find about it.

I feel absolutely no remorse about boycotting moneyhatted games, especially when the developers were pricks about it ( like Satisfactory or Ooblets)
That’s why I’m buying Control. At least Remedy (or 505) took the money and said nothing.
Yeah both those ones really rubbed me up the wrong way and so im not getting their games, at least not until (Satisfactory) is dirt cheap. Ooblets one i dont think ill ever get. That guy was a real dick.

Considering how they beg people not to cancel, offer coupons, and are now taking the choice out of Choice for this month's higher tiers by giving them everything, they must be getting a little desperate to keep people subbed.

You know, I'm not the most bloodthirsty guy out there and I don't wanna people to get locked out of content, but holy shit Sony fanboys should experience their owns company medicine, come on Phil, you can do it.
New Humble Choice is pretty decent for me. Vampyr and Call of Cthulhu both interest me. Automachef also looks right up my alley. And that We Are Here game also looks interesting, found out about it when I was looking for puzzle games similar to The Room a few weeks ago and added the first free game to my account (and already owned the second one from a Humble Monthly back in 2018 lol), so sure I'll take the third one I guess.
My regret for buying Wargroove at launch has never been greater, though. I played like 3 hours and never touched it again. I really need to stop impulse buying indies at launch. I always regret it lol. Kinda wish I was getting the usual 10 games, though. Those two Hello Neighbor games would make it real easy to choose which games not to get...

It expires on the Monday before November's bundle is revealed, so just use it by then. Though I reckon they may have some more coupons for us in future months if we keep pausing.
Such a shame about HZD's port. Hopefully something can be done.
I honestly wanted to install and try it but wasn't sure if I wanted to wait to buy the game with the season pass. Borderlands 2 was a little bland but overall quite the nice experience. Writing was okay and it had a few genuinely good moments. I never got to the DLC content but I can't say I regret my time playing the main game.
I don't get the feeling Borderlands 3 gets close to that, but maybe I'm mistaken. If I'm not, I'm not sure how they managed to screw up such a massively successful franchise :/.

I'm not sure, this seems to be overall related to the company doing the porting having not bothered at all with handling texture memory management, going from unified memory to PC. Having a single root cause to focus on in a single sprint may be enough...
