Amazing deal for C&C if you're fine with Origin. I need to go back to it myself but playing TD on Hard is super annoying (the original game never had Hard difficulty so it's unbalanced as hell).

I finished Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk and it was really neat, although the requirements for the True Ending are somewhat annoying, still I really enjoyed my time with it, I'm glad NISA brought it over and I'm looking forward to Galleria (hopefully it'll be ported to PC if/when they localize it)

I just prefer to play with a controller and there's no way they're not adding it to the console version, atm I see it relies on a mod for that but I'd rather have it native.
Honestly nowadays the only things I'll play with k+m are either shooters or strategy games for everything else I prefer a controller.

Looks like they've just added a sharpen filter to the textures but yeah, dat bloom. You forget that the 360/PS3 era was full of [UWSL]piss filters[/UWSL], [UWSL]brown textures[/UWSL] and bloom. I bet some people are pining for it to return, bleh.

Thinking about the Sims some more, I suppose it's better to play it on Origin. If it catches you, there is a mortgage level of DLC, but at least you can find them on key sellers. The Sims 4 on Steam could be quite pricey.

Bloom is overkill, looks alright otherwise.
But what the game really needed was better progression, so that loot would be more interesting, and so that you'd not run out of new skills to gain 30% of the way into the game...
Game's fun but so shallow and bloated...
I might be mistaken, but I think I read that since everything links to Origin anyway, including the Steam version, you can mix and match the Steam version with DLC you own on Origin. Can anyone confirm this?

Same feelings as others. It's more of a testament to how good the base game was that it still looks okay in 2020, but the bloom and rendering don't seem much changed. I'm not sure they even touched the UI from the looks of it.
Still interested but this sends of signals of low-effort "remaster".

You may need to open up the MS Store to see if there are any updates queued for the Xbox app. I got it to work at some point, but I can't remember how.

i would say its pretty great from what i played so far (really love the timeline of action mechanic , which make it work a bit differently than standard xcom), but depends a lot on how you see rogoulikey mechanics that are part of it ... its like Xcom x Darkest Dungeon in that regard
Highly likely to not be the same issue but my Sims 4 used to just crash at the main menu and no amount of googling could solve it. Turned out to be MSI Afterburner and Rivatuner. If you got them on your system, turn them off and have another go.

Tried a repair for each, with both x86 and x64.
Nothing changed.
Tried to install VC2015 as maybe that's the one I need, but the installation tells me it can't continue due to the presence of other VC versions.
Should I uninstall every VC++ and just install the newer one ?
This is middle/high on the ball breaking scale.
It almost feels like publishers are doing this deliberately to push pre-orders as people fear that the price might go up anytime leading up to launch.
I've lost count of games that had its price "corrected" in the pre-order phase over the years.
It still boggles my mind how Microsoft managed to completely botch the basic process of downloading and installing a game. Truly embarrassing for a huge software company.
