I never use this feature. It takes ages to get a result.Easiest would have been if he just used the search files function on his computer.
It's easy to ask, but getting answers from other isn'tIt is not easier, although it might seem easier. It is like making a new post on a forum instead of using the search bar and finding the answer in an older post. It takes more time to write the post (and then wait for an answer) than to look for the answer and read it.
And search for what? Save files can be named anything.... anything!!!Easiest would have been if he just used the search files function on his computer.
Post it on Era if you could please. I am too lazy to copy paste what you wrote :V
Join the club ^^I go a warning for system wars and "gatekeeping the discussion" lmao
The Epic Monopoly - How Epic Store Exclusives are bringing console wars to PC
This is absolutely amazing.Pc Gamer editor who claims to like EGS starts a thread on Era to ask how to copy save files to another pc. Hilarious.
agreedI know it's not my place to complain or anything, but I'd rather we stopped talking about Era warnings and such. It's fine to link news and stuff from that place, but it's kinda uncomfortable for me to see all this mockery here. It makes me feel we're no better than those forums that have whole threads dedicated to shitting on other forums, and I know we're definitely better than that.
wow ... that's impressive (the fact that they're still working on it, i mean )For those waiting, Resonance of Fate got another update today (1.0.04) 11.1MB. Currently the patch notes are only in Japanese, but from what I read it seems to fix infinite loading and sound issues that some players reported.
Hopefully that's the last of the serious issues. I'm glad they're still working on it instead of giving up.
you had me at out drink SatanOxenfree was great! Can't wait for Night School Studio's next game!
You won't see it. Epic said they won't release numbers. EGS doesn't even has a top-10 list to see which games are selling best.I am curious to see how well Metro Exodus sold on EGS.
yup ... it's an impenetrable fortress when it comes to ANY numbers ... we still don't even have the vaguest of ideas about how many fortnite players there are on PC (or any platform split for that game really)You won't see it. Epic said they won't release numbers. EGS doesn't even has a top-10 list to see which games are selling best.
that ... and probably Tencent doesn't want it in there either since they have their own store for China (and own 40% of epic)Stupid question alert - why isn't EGS available in China? What issues (I'm assuming with the Chinese government) prevent it?
Yeah, that is disappointing bundle. Two hidden games that will be revealed in the next week too, that's stupidQuite disappointed with the Colossus Bundle on Fanatical
https://www.fanatical.com/en/bundle/colossus-bundle
that's what humble used to do. but i guess without the average price for the middle tier it's without purpose so I don't really know why they are doing it.Yeah, that is disappointing bundle. Two hidden games that will be revealed in the next week too, that's stupid
You basically have to have a Chinese partner company (or something similar) last I checked to sell in China, digitally or not. Steam for a long time was a sort of "grey market", technically not allowed but also not policed. So EGS would have to work with someone (Tencent, essentially) to be allowed to be in China and sell games. Then they also have to adopt their store for Chinese law and policies and culture, which is more work and they're still forecasting most of their planned features for end of 2019, so not sure if they could even tackle that.Stupid question alert - why isn't EGS available in China? What issues (I'm assuming with the Chinese government) prevent it?
They also buy a lot of anime games though. It's notable that the Chinese market, while huge, mostly focuses on different games compared to almost the entire rest of the world, primarily dedicating their gaming time towards multiplayer online f2p games of one sort or another. Not to say that Metro isn't losing sales by not being there (they are), just that it's probably not losing sales equal to China's market share due to the game type.
Steam input rebinding to the rescue, not sure why you just didn't bind that macro to L2 on your own..It heavily relies on the short distance teleport ability you get and the controls for that are. Double. Tapping. Direction. Cumbersome when you want to pull it off, yet easy to pull off when you don't want to. Truly the worst of both worlds. WHY. Just put it on L2 instead. The function you get on there is not worth an entire button that could have been the teleport. That heavily sapped my enjoyment from the final stretch. Ugh.
Because I'm a noob! I managed to put left and right teleport on the paddles, which kind of made things better but only worked if I pressed them while having the stick released, but then you need to be able to do it up and diagonal too...Steam input rebinding to the rescue, not sure why you just didn't bind that macro to L2 on your own..
apparently it's good now too75% off.
I'm sure STEAM has better discounts when there isn't a big sale on.
well it IS available now ... just not on steam lolWell.... =/

Y'know... this is the quote that made me laugh.Yep. It was worth it ^^
Just read the part from Fraser Brown here:
This week's highs and lows in PC gaming: Page 2 | PC Gamer
People like Steam because it's good. It's like he's telling me I should shop at gamestop instead of best buy because it's for my own good. I can get the same product, but I get a $10 certificate at best buy as well as extra points on my card. Now he's trying to tell me I should go shop at gamestop because...? Nuh uh, that's not how it works. Both have scummy business practices too, so I feel this is an apt comparison. If anything, all this does is make it clear that more competition is necessary, if only to pry these people away from a shop they’ve become inexplicably loyal to. It’s for their own good.
Sweet, you got a bronze medal, too.I go a warning for system wars and "gatekeeping the discussion" lmao
