Hello,

Thanks for the welcome. I was hunting for primary sources for the undying Bloodborne on PC rumors, and following the bloodtrail with enough Insight revealed this place...

PS @ admins: I am the same person as "Gamall"; that account was rejected last week for email reasons (I understand and do not contest the rationale for the policy about email providers, though it happens that I have used the same "disposable" addresses for non-work purposes for well over a decade). I assume the aborted account will be auto-deleted at some point so that I can reuse the shorter name?

Oh, and another email-related question @ admins:

Now that my account is validated and that the FAI email has served what I assume to be its filtering purpose, is it 1° technically possible for me to change the email back to my usual gaming account (gmail), and if so, 2° would that be considered a breach of policy to even try?

edit: the answer to 1° seems to be "no", unless I missed an option in the settings...

That was also my assumption! Well, it's certainly appreciated - There's quite a few of us that've utilised your service throughout recent months. Though do feel free to actively participate in here outside of work-things, if you fancy! - We're a reasonably welcoming bunch of nerds :)

Welcome. Do hope you enjoy your time here and end up participating in all things Meta. We (outside of me) try our (their) best to be a welcoming bunch (I'm a jaded, wickedly crass bell-end so don't ever take it personal if I sound rude or some such - I'm the sort that swears a sodding shiteload) and we're all nerdy gamers, devs and the likes. :)

That's more like it. I'm a crotchety get-off-my lawn type myself. I don't swear much, but I'm not above bludgeoning people over the head with polysyllabic words --- it does about 20% more damage than swears, in my experience. We'll get along just fine so long as you stay off my lawn.

I am willing to barter for a lawn-truce if you steer clear of my lawn.

And I must admit that I honestly have a particularly off-putting predilection for the utilization of ponderously polysyllabic linguistic constructions.
