Haachama is completely next level. She is one of the few membership subs I have. I greatly appreciate both her and Mito from Nijisanji, by just how much they push boundaries.
Jitomi Monoe's nearly 25 hour stream yesterday was also an amazing watch. I was so, so happy when she reached the top in Getting Over It and 101K subs. Really appreciate all of VOMS.

It's a pretty unique form of entertainment / storytelling for sure.
Typical streamer entertainment combined with an actual plot running in the back hasn't been done often i think.
I saw someone else calling it a new form of live action anime, and i guess that's not too far off.
It's certainly weird to be invested into the story of a livestreamer

Haachama is unique in the way she weaves her own lore and dual-persona, and how she used both in interactions not only with Haatons, but also with other Hololive members. It's a calculated move, sure (for example, you can hear her faintly snickering when she added those gyozas or whatever during her takoyaki cooking stream with Luna) but it's damn entertaining one.
Calling the narrative as depicted in Hololive's Sport Festival, Mario Kart Tournament, Hololive Resistance or Kensetsu Wars as shonen/battle anime isn't too far off either, the mix of raw emotion and the comedy of errors presented feels organic and genuine, and it becomes part of their characters' lore as time goes on.
I'm loving Marine's Alto voice she's started leaning into recently a bit more than previously.
Here's she is singing "Mainly Dude-Vocalist Songs" from a few days ago and i really like it.
A song collab with Towa, Marine. Ayunda, Okayu and Kanata with her "sexy man voice" could be amazing. There was someone else with a deeper register that i can't think of at the moment too.

That was such a great stream, I watched the entire 2.5hrs of it. Impromptu collabs are the stuff of legends.
This is a good project to share.
I've seen the first video of the series, and the translation seems pretty good, Aonahara makes good clips. They have a good crew going, with a few well-known live translators contributing.
Have a look at the HoloRewind trailer they have put a ton of effort into the project and even delayed it a little to polish it a bit more. I had a look on the 7th but nothing was up yet so i didn't post but i did read their posts on hololive & VirtualYoutuber subreddits.

Clever move. It keeps things fresh and interesting for us and her and avoids her getting stuck in a typecast restrictive role and getting bored.
I'm sure she will wheel out Haachama every now and then when she wants to but people really enjoyed seeing Haachama interacting with HoloEN especially Ame. People expected chaos and got wholesome.
I hope she still keeps her eyes on #HoloENGen 0 it would be great to see more JP/ID/EN collabs on the HoloEN server in the future.

She literally tops all of hololive for views in the past 7 days, and is only marginally behind Gura in second place in subscriber increase.

I'm still catching up with Haachama Haato 's archives from last night. Karaoke stream for 1M celebration? Reading a heartfelt letter? Those are so passé. Gothic horror combined with an abstraction of the internal conflict of multiple personalities is the way to go.

Anteater Yeah, there's been two earthquakes happen while i was watching VTubers in the last 18 months. I know there's a clip video of one that happened over the summer which shows the POV of those that were streaming and also shows how spread out over Japan the VTubers are. Hope everyone was ok.

I love the way they sing "in character" i.e. with their characters voice traits. It must be pretty difficult.

Tomorrow 2021/02/15 21:30 JST Hololive Gen 4 ( Kanata, Coco, Watame, Towa, Luna ) are debuting their new 3D Idol costumes tomorrow. Someone said it's the ones they were supposed to present a while ago but Luna's broke so they delayed it until now.
Gen 4 are called "HoloForce" apparently, because Holo and Four/Force. I'm sure i hadn't heard them called that before but it's in Luna's tweet so it must be a thing i've missed but also it's not used much unlike HoloMyth for EN Gen 0 and HoloFive for JP Gen 5.

Just don't let Matsuri, Miko, Marine and Haachama be in charge or it could never be sold. Anywhere.
I'd have to think that a VN would be easy for them to produce but getting a suitable tone and story written would take time and a lot of editing. There again a Holo No Grafitti VN would be a good start point for adventures and avoid the need for a Romance system. They have a GAMERS group who have pixel art in their intros so throw together a 2D platformer collection type game with Fubuki, Korone, Okayu and Mio in a retro 16bit stylie.

I think Miko has a short VN included as part of her merch (now out of print, sadly). But yeah, doing collabs with a production company seems to be the way to go for now. Meanwhile...
No subtitles yet, I think it'll be added soon. The [another] clip actually has a RU sub, to my surprise. I guess this is Shishiron's way of looking after Russian fans, of which there are plenty in her streams these days.
