The base game has a huge price tag 70 euro without the discount and the season pass cost more than the base game 90 euros. KOEI really wants to earn money from the costumes
I'll wait for the free to play version to test the game, I bought Yakuza Kiwami, RE2 and DMC5 for the price of that DLC...

Stacked month that turned out to be. Only had DMC and Sekiro on my screen. Couple good indies there for me as well.

Though, wasn't the Sinking City delayed to April or May even?

Koei Tecmo are out of their minds. In Europe, the DOA 6 Season Pass 1, which only covers a 4 month period, is 89,99€.
89,99€ for 2 characters and 62 costumes. That's even worse than DOA 5!

And there's a note saying: "Downloadable content not included in the list above may be released during the same period, but it will not be covered by this Season Pass 1.".
So, 89,99€ for some of the content released in the next 4 months. o_O

Wow, there's a lot of games this month! Besides DMC5 and Sekiro most I wasn't expecting or knowing.
I can't get into fighting games but I do enjoy me watching movie-cuts of their campaigns on Youtube. So, hope DoA6 delivers :smirking-face:
And wish me luck, I plan on returning to playing games almost after a month of nothing!

Just a reminder folks that with the latest Monthly Humble Bundle going fully live today to pick it up before then if you want EDF 4.1. It basically has every bit of EDF 4.1 content available on Steam in it including the 2 mission expansion packs. That's a damn fine bargain there if you want some bug shooting action.

And also it's currently this month's challenge :)

Get the insight direct from Hibernian Workshop on the engrossing sense of discovery rippling through Dark Devotion’s ominous temple, and the developer’s focus on balancing an omnipresent impression of danger with a vital allure of the unknown. Lauded in recent previews for its distinct approach and gameplay mechanics and hailed one of the best indies at PAX East 2018,
Dark Devotion is set to kill you off in early 2019.

The eagerly anticipated Railway Empire: Germany DLC finally lets you pioneer the creation and expansion of the Central European railway system. Help the aspiring cities of a divided "patchwork" Germany to thrive economically and improve understanding among nations through border crossing connections. The addition of new historic train models and unique products give the game additional depth, while the new concession feature, German-inspired soundtrack, city buildings, characters and German railway signals make for a completely new game experience.

I almost started my Fallout 3 replay last week, I have even installed a bunch of mods. But that Amazon rumor held me back.

How's the chance that it's gonna be a remaster of Fallout 3 or New Vegas?

Regarding the Monthly Challenge: lashman
As I'm playing EDF right now, I would really suggest against using one of those "beat all missions with a single class" achievements. The Ranger one is probably the easiest but it artificially limits you, because usually you just don't stick to a single class all the way through but rather change it up depending on how you feel like or the mission (from my experience so far).

Why do we need an achievement anyway? Suggestion: If you want some provable way for game completion we could just have people post a screenshot of the mission selection screen with the last mission selected (There are 89 missions in single player mode and 9 extra ones in online mode for a total of 98). Looks like the last mission is the same for both modes though and named "Star Eaters".
well i did ask about another suggestion for the challenge before the thread went up - no one replied :p

ok, how do i word it for the OP then?

Awww my subtitle didnt get the pick? Oh wells~
sorry :( maybe April?

Though, wasn't the Sinking City delayed to April or May even?
i did try to google ... but all i could find is March ... guess they haven't delayed it yet?

Not a single mention of shlooters in the OP :cryingwhyblob:

I was thinking of suggesting it before, but I'm lazy and then the site was down for me the last 2 days :p

Hm, how about just something simple like:

Beat the game.
Complete all stages on any difficulty with any class.

There's no real way to prove this for sure actually, (since the mission selection screen doesn't show character name), but I believe we are a honest enough bunch for that :p

Anyone a better idea?

That's fine with me. Unless we want to do grinding achievements...

Aaaand that wraps up Luna Nights!

Excellent 5 hours and as I said, definitely earned its place in my favorite metroidvania list.
Though, the Metroidvania part isn't actually that pronounced. The levels are pretty much straightforward with just the occasional hidden room here and there. If you're looking for some sprawling levels and tons of exploration you might end up disappointed.
It makes up for that with incredibly tight gameplay and combat and I really applaud them for how they translated Touhou's bullet hell roots and Sakuya's time powers into the genre, it works really well and all the mechanics work together. Especially during the boss fights. Which may or may not be among my favorite boss fights in general? Not sure about that, but I had a blast.
Strong GOTY list contender.

I had postponed looking at games with similar Steam banners. I'm checking the results now for the top 100 most played games in the past two weeks.

Here is a funny (obviously intended) match:

Another one with similar composition:

The banner of DoD is matched to both Tannenberg and Handball 16:
