I think I need a new phone. The power button of my Galaxy S8 just fell off today, lol (I don't know exactly when and where the button is right now, but it's definitely not on the phone
)
Served me well the ...4 years? I had and I got it with a very good deal, so it's fine. I don't really need the power button either but it's noticeably getting clunkier recently (the loading port is somewhat loose and the battery has been getting worse and worse). Nothing I can't deal with but combined it's probably a sign that I should just replace it.
I really don't need anything high-end and I really don't care about custom android stuff, so I'm thinking of going a bit more budget this time - it seems like even the "high end" phones kinda start falling apart after 3-4 years anyway so why bother. The Pixel 4a seems nice. It's basically just a side-grade at best in terms of hardware (pretty much the same size and specs, some stuff actually seems to be sliiiightly worse even but not really much), but it should really be enough for my purposes - which are basically browsing the internet,reading webnovels/webtoons and listening to music/podcasts, lol.
