Suisei is happy then. From what she said on holotalk it seems she loves the challenge and finds it fun. Their battles are legendary.
During their rare off-collab, the 2nd gen decided to call into Okayu's stream. It's amazing.

I really enjoyed the Gura & Ina MonHun collab the other day even if the beastie glitched itself and isekai'd so it wouldn't have to deal with the shame of being killed by them. lol.
I can't wait to finish some of the games i'm currently close to finishing so i can start MonHun Rise on my switch. I want that Watame styled quilty armour.

Better to play it safe in the current COVID climate though so i can understand why they'd want to get people in separately.
There were probably scheduling conflicts and planning considerations that probably stopped a big 3D Live Collab.
Kanata seemed to be having fun for the moments i was able to pop-in and catch so that's great and nearly 100k viewers is phenomenal.

I've been catching some of Izaya's vods over the last few months as he's been covering VTuber music more frequently than Anime. He does a lot of coverage of Hololive/Nijisanji and Indie VTuber music and has started regular "Watch Party" streams where he watches music videos he's found or are suggested by chat and there's usually a wealth of new tracks to like and listen to. With so much being released and underexposed it's a good time to catch up. I usually have them on in the background and pay attention when a track i really like pops up.

Nyanners is my favorite especially since I was following her WELL before any of this. It's crazy to see how her career has gone from all those years ago.
I often get nyanners history videos recommended to me, but I never clicked, was she well known way before her vtuber career? I'm incredibly wary at looking at that stuff because I'm not sure if they gave their consent
Nyanners has had an online presence for at least 10 years, she started uploading voice overs and skits, she used FaceRig and various avatars for a long time before settling on her current design. She took down a ton of her videos a while ago which makes it seem like she's new but she's been around a long while. She really took off over the last few years but i'd seen her videos and heard her mentioned for years but didn't watch much as she was mainly on Twitch and still is.
Her streams are a mixture of chill watching japanese walk videos or train journeys or just chatting to skits and degeneracy. She's all over the map. It's great. She's similar to Gura in a way. Had a history of years of shitposting, songs and meme videos before their current form. (Though in Gura's case, you're really not supposed to mention it but it is the worst kept secret. There's a reason why she's at 2.5m subs. She dropped enough hints to ensure her old fanbase followed her..)

The same with Calli, she had a large following beforehand and it didn't take long for people to work out who she was. "Live Again" was aimed at her old fans. I do like that we don't talk about their past lives though.

The Kizuna AI VR game is pretty fun. I'm kinda hoping they do more games like that with other Vtubers now lol.
Marine's fashion critique stream (I dubbed it HoloVogue) last night was pretty funny. Korone's fashion sense is basically retro (like her games preference), and Kanata's basically obsessed with floral pattern, lol.

Kvik I'll have to see if i can dig out a clip or two from a year or longer ago where (I think) Coco was critiquing a couple of the Holomems fashion sense and yeah apparently Kanata always wears the most terrible floral pattern clothes and sometimes wears a t-shirt with a big cutesy logo or animal on it just for added "What?".

Some mad lad has gone through all of hololive gen 0 and compiled all the songs / concerts / karaokes into various playlists. Really handy because often this stuff requires a lot of digging to find.
I'm watching Ina play Nier Automata while playing Nier Replicant (well, its sidequests -- I wouldn't want a distraction during the main story, but it's nice during fishing

Neptunia Virtual Stars is one to watch a video on before deciding if you want to get it or wait for a further sale. The VTubers in the game are essentially 30 second Loading screen clips, short skits on Monitors that appear in the game levels and power-ups you collect that appear as cards in mini-games, and small skits in the HUD that comment on your actions in-game and assists you can trigger when gauges reach max.
You don't play as them or have them in your party at all. The game itself is a 3rd person shooter, fast-paced almost like a twin-stick shooter with two seperate teams. Nep, Noire, Vert and Blanc are the usual playable characters with different weapon types. You only control one of them but can switch between them whenever you want. The new VTuber characters they introduce specifically for the game are paired up, you control one of them and the other is AI controlled but you can swap between the two characters at any point. Another paired team of VTubers appear later and you can swap between the two teams of two at save points and check points. You run around the levels shooting Antis ( with love ), collect powerups and a ton of different items for the many systems in the game like props for the dancing/video conversion game, items you can convert to power up the VTubers or buy accessories you can attach to the playable characters to power them up more. It's bonkers.

Durante I've just seen that our favorite Virtual Revolutionary graduated at the end of march. I must admit i didn't check that much tbh but they say they are finishing 6 months earlier than the 2 years they planned. I wish them well!
