One can enjoy a game and still criticize it for faults that it has.
Dismissing such criticism is wrong.
I was hoping it was obvious, but I was joking. Li Kao and lashman got the joke it seems :p

I dont mind what people like or dont like for whatever reasons, it doesnt change my liking (or not liking) of a game one bit. And yes, I also agree that you can enjoy something and still criticise perceived shortcomings. Absolutely.

To this date i don't understand how it is fun to shoot 400 bullets in one enemy but i guess if people can find fun in that good for them.

Also Metso Exodus EE continues to impress, here are some more 360 screens

And few standard ones:

Also best skin shader in game to date?

i mean, depends on your party members probably, some of your members can be underleveled, but generally, as long as you dash around and have enough with healing (hp sp) items, you should be good, i got it first try so

Bosses in Strikers have a lot of HP, so battles will be drawn out, especially on Hard mode. So yeah, have a lot of items on hand. Levels aren't all that important. As long as you have a proper persona line-up, you should be fine. Alice is weak to Fire & Wind, so it should be pretty obvious who to take with you and what personas to have. Personally, I ran with Ann, Vergil Yusuke & Sophie for the entire game. Joker's personas can cover everything else.

Also, dodge spam. Panther's dodge is particularly good if you're having trouble with Joker's. Also keep in mind that Burn restores Panther's SP.

Tried mercenary mode? Pretty damn fun, at least before it starts looping
Seconded. I wasn't expecting Mercenaries to be all that good, but it's very engaging when you're trying to S+ rank all the sections. Unfortunately, Part 2 of later sections ain't that fun.

It has some good OST, too. By far my favourite tracks in the game.

This one particularly would fit perfectly in CP 2077.

no, not yet, but thats a good idea :)

I just got the infinite ammo STAKE and finished my 3rd run, I will start my 4th asap too, this game is just too good.
yes, me too. quite an awesome weapon to have!
i think i got all but 2 of the infinite ammo weapons now (i dont have the one you get after you finish "village of shadows" difficulty yet, nor the one from the mecenaries mode)
i'm trying village of shadows now for my 4th run but boy, even with all the carried over upgrades that is hard.

Yea Part 2 is lame just because of weapon choice. Increased difficulty would just be better.
And agree, the music is so good in it, didn't even realize it's the same OST as Heisenberg since that fight is so loud.
It fits really well though.

  • Creates a Virtual Machine to install a software that's not from a trustworthy source.
  • Stupidly click on the wrong window and run the software in the main system instead of the VM (realizing it once UAC popped on the entire screen).
  • Immediately restores the weekly image (tuesday) backup of the Windows partition (everything else is in others drives).
  • Realizes that Hardspace: Shipbreaker does not have cloud saves and it uses the profile directory... oooops :(

It's in times like these that I really miss the old "list mode" of Steam. The small cloud icon on the list was way more useful to me than the current icons on the game banner (I know the game X is single-player Steam).

On the topic of VM, I read that depending on the dodginess level of your software it would not help. Did I understand wrong ?

It's not really my area, but I would imagine that while it helps a lot, that they aren't 100% secure no. As with everything, there are probably exploits for the malware to get out, specially because you usually need some way to get files in and out (either file sharing, clipboard integration, etc).

What I do think it's pretty common these days is for the malware to detect it's in an VM and not do anything to stay hidden. But someone else with more knowledge can say more.

I'm having fun with my Mass Effect replay, but going from Andromeda gameplay to this feels kinda clunky
I'm still really tempted to get this collection, but I need to stay strong :p . Reading that several people are having some technical issues and it's barebones port (no FOV without modding) has helped... a little....

Interestingly enough if I try to repack Coaelesced_INT.bin in ME1 and I add comments to the file I cannot repack it as the powershell is spitting errors all over the place

Bioshock infinite pls....

Fair point, the way the vox populi and specifically the leader Fitzroy was dealt with was some insane "both sides" shit, and that in a game where the other side is literally America's white nationalist side come to life.
Honestly, it wasn't even that good as a game, I liked the beginning and the ending was at least decent again, but the shooty bits felt kinda boring. Mostly because it feels like the same fight played over 8 hours.

Run it from a command prompt?
Are you using LECoal.exe?
What character are you using as the comment signifier? I'll give it a go myself.
I merged "enable autosave" and "Easy Console Commands" which lets you run commands from a text file mods last night with no problem using LECoal in powershell but i don't have any comments in any of my unpacked BIOGame ini files. I also changed the "Easy Console Commands" mod to use my numpad.

I like The Division 1 and 2. The worlds of both are really richly detailed, the cover mechanics are well thought out and the second has fun and adaptive AI routines. The theming is kind of drab, I agree, but overall they've been a source of great entertainment to me :blobmorning2: Probably my favorite current Ubi series and the most compelling third-person cover shooter since... I don't know when. Other than the poor political messaging, I don't really get the ire that the games draw. I'll grant you the suspension of disbelief required for the amount of bullets some boss enemies can take, but it's never been as bad in my eyes as some people make it out to be :dmcblob:

Yeah that is something that worries me when so many hold "Find 10 seconds of fun gameplay and make that the game" as gospel when it comes to games as a medium.
Hah, I wish I could say that to everyone raving about "gameplay loops" everywhere as if those two words magically make them game designers. I agree with you, gameplay loop is a very corporate concept, one that fits the silo worldview of games and that is of course completely inappropriate to anything complex and not repetitive.

I get what they were trying to say with the revolution twist though. Anyone can become an oppressor, given the wrong circumstances and it was something that certainly resonated with me given how much I've seen and experienced regarding abuse and victims. It's not that their suffering was invalid or that they were bad people. It's that it's a treacherous dynamic and victims can easily become vectors of harm themselves if they don't heal, if they aren't helped and face their own issues. The whole game is about "breaking the cycle" and I'd say that it's a very ambitious message. I don't think it tackled it properly, it's clumsy - such as in this case, portraying oppressed people oppressing others back to back is idiotic, it sends a "both sides" disingenous message - but I liked that it tried.

Morning Meta!

yes and yes, but it really isn't an issue, I just found it funny, my stuff is at the start of

Code:
[SFXGame.SFXGameModeDefault]
right after
Code:
InputDelayStormExit=0.25
InputDelayTightAimExit=0.1
so it's easily recognizable, I was using

Code:
