Playing the Scarlet Nexus demo on Xbox and, while gameplay is a little derivative and the story typical anime Bamco, I actually think this game is good fun.

It feels like one of those games that won't be remembered 10 years from now, but is good in a pinch.

Got Youropa from a Humble Choice a few months ago and it's surprisingly good; I've been hooked on it for the past few days. Gravity-defying (you can't shift gravity at will, but you can walk on walls if there's a curved surface) 3D puzzle-platformer with some light Metroidvania elements. only major issue is that camera controls kinda suck, but so far, the platforming isn't intense enough and checkpoints are forgiving enough for that to be less of an issue than it otherwise might be

Biomutant reviews are disappointing but not surprising, game always seemed far too ambitious for a 20-person studio. still wanna try it at some point when it's on Game Pass or whatever

Well, that sucks. I was mostly interested in Biomutant because of the combat... but if the devs failed to execute that properly, then there isn't much else in the game for me.

I never pre-order games so I got nothing to lose. :blobmorning2:

fantomena when is the Snowrunner tutorial considered complete? Is it when you drive out of your garage in Alaska?

When is it OK to return to Michigan and continue there?

Yeah the Biomutant scores are where I expected, will end up being a cult favourite I imagine (I can see threads where people say it deserved more than what it got, favourite game only you enjoy etc... ). I will check it out on EA pass but it looks like my sort of game. Had the same feeling with
the Saboteur, Just Cause 1.

I was waiting for this to be published to write this week's report, I will do a dual analysis, weekly and monthly in this occasion, nice list if you ask me.

They simply went too big with Biomutant. I hoped that they would tackle smaller scope open world game with lots of variety in gameplay and mission design but nope, their Just Cause roots didn't vanished so we got what we got.

Sad it seems the expansion was half assed (I mean, it doesn't even have VR like before, sucks), I've seen complaints about everything, from the basic intent of the core gameplay loop to the nerfed terrain generation. Long before even getting to the technical side of it and if it works or not and if it performs well or not.
