Openness of pc means options and game pass is a great option for situations that suit some people. Contrast with EGS, they took away all other options.

I get your point, but I don't view it that way. I view it as what the client/storerfront offers themself.

For all we know, game pass PC delayed the Steam version of Echo Generation.

I know that Steam is one of the easiest storefront to publish your game on, so I don't know why that game is not on Steam yet.

I mean, even Gabe himself have called EGS "great" and Im fairly sure it is because it doesn't limit peoples access to edit games. We know that Valve is all about the openess of PC gaming, which PC game pass is not about.

Bruh, the Steam Point shop REALLY needs a facelift. It was fine when there wasn't a lot of content but now that there's a decent amount of stuff browsing anything animated slows things down something fierce. I know you can by game but man there has to be a better alternative lol.

I'm pretty excited about the Steam version of Dwarf Fortress tbh. I had a blast playing Kenshi for its emergent narratives, but Dwarf Fortress is the king there.

In recent days, I've started noticing some conspiracy theory stuff, mostly Covid related (but not just), on my twitter feed, silly stuff really (like "Arnold Schwarzenegger is a nazi!!!", and worse), and I was not understanding where it was coming from.
The culprit? Yet another indie developer (Deceptive Games) who apparently thinks it's a good idea to use their company's twitter account to spread crap, instead of promoting their games.

I wish this would be a rare occurrence, but sadly, it isn't. I've lost count on the developers I unfollowed for this very same reason.
I've mostly given up on using twitter to get videogames updates, or news about small indie developers.
What are these people thinking?

Given the nature of their games, it seems they disappeared down the conspiracy rabbit hole years ago.

I’m almost done with Tales from the Borderlands, and it’s been surprisingly enjoyable. I went in knives out, ready to put it on blast for its shitty humor but it’s been pretty sedate in that respect and even thoughtful and heartfelt at many occasions. Complete tonal whiplash. In a good way.

If you haven’t given it a try yet, definitely do. It takes like an episode to warm up to but after that it’s pretty good imo.

That's Far Cry 6 story done. i could write a lot of things about that but i don't have will to do it. In short it's total nonsense. Huge collision between serous themes, cartoon characters and crazy gameplay.

Speaking of which, since I'm not very familiar with the series, this is a "disconnected" game, that gathers different franchises, right?
In a way, this is kind of like King of Fighters, a game that combines various SNK properties.
Or, is it connected to any other games?

I didn't buy SD GUNDAM G GENERATION CROSS RAYS, because unless it changed since then there were certain units, and worse of all in-game quests, that were pre-order/early buyer exclusive, which is insanely shitty.

I'm hoping this commemorative game is a good jumping point, since I'm under the impression that it's a stand-alone game.

Sometimes using the steam://install/<gameid> command works, but unfortunately not in this case, I just tried it.

This second half of October really has been insane, in terms of releases.
Next week, in particular, will be nuts! It seems everyone decided to release their games in the space of 5 days.

Excluding big titles like Guardians of the Galaxy, Age of Empires IV, FATAL FRAME / PROJECT ZERO: Maiden of Black Water, Super Robot Wars 30, and others, much of the releases I've been looking forward to are all launching next week.

If I hadn't reserved some funds for them, or pre-ordered a few, I would be screwed.
