There was an article about the sales distribution for that game about a month after it released. The Steam version was about 89% and EGS, GOG, Itch and Stadia made up the remainder. I'm honestly surprised the Stadia version did (relatively) so well. Poor GOG though.
Yeah holy shit at gog, can’t see them being in business much longer .
I might need to drop Genshin. I don't think I can balance this game with having a full-time job now.

Thats what I was surprised by the most. I would have thought all things considered that GOG would still be bigger than EGS for example and easily beating Stadia.
What surprises me from the chart is that there are bunch of people talking that they prefer GOG because of DRM free copy, and here we see that most people rather buy from Steam because of easy access to their already big library. Even stadia has more users than GOG...
Wine making sim with some nice artwork. Played the demo during one of the festivals and thought the narrative aspect was quite weak, rest seemed fine if you're into those sorts of games.
tbh it was mine too, I mean it's smaller by several factors compared to EGS and Stadia after all, and is only 3x bigger than itchio

I stopped buying trash bundles long time ago. Life is short, focus on the games you truly wanna play and play them.
Kinda why sub services like PS Now and game pass doesn't work for me.

That said, I assume there are price ranges where games will do better on certain platforms than others.
Gotta say, the new Ghostwire gameplay video shot up my interest in the game. Looks like Dr. Strange the game, I love Strange's powers.
I think we would need to see numbers for a larger cross section of games than just one, but I say that as one of those 'prefer it on gog' people you mentioned.

I've done my part! I have 0 on EGS and haven't logged into my account since it was created.EGS doing better than GoG is really sad.
I have close to 350 games on GOG and buy from them regularly. I have some AAA games there even if there's a release on Steam and i have doubled up and bought DRM free on GOG when i have things on Steam.
Dying Light 2 is over 235,000 concurrent players. I thought it would reach this number around Sunday. Now I'm thinking it might get over 300,000.

Parkour in Dying Light 2 is very good.
Combat (so far) is meh.
Story/dialog is terrible (and I have I very high tolerance for that)
Overall I'm actually having fun, but I have to reduce my "score" by at least 5 points because the game made me install the crappy Logitech software so I could "rebind" the right mouse button (it appears that binding mouse buttons in general is broken).

personally, I'll take FSR over DLSS any day because I only have a GTX 1660 Ti
Worse than Dying Light 1? Thought the start of that was almost unbearable with how badly written and designed it was.
Well, I'm only 5 hours in, and while I remember very little about the story of the first game, I can say the it's bothering me more here. Probably because I think it takes itself more seriously and there have been several long and pointless dialog sequences.
Maybe it gets less intrusive later. After all it took me about 1.5 hours of these 5 to get to the open word proper.
But I should also say, I think you can skip everything dialog/cutscene related very fast with the space bar.
Do it. I'm holding off buying DL2 till there is a patch or two and the price is right but in the meantime i've gone back to DL1. I completed the main game a couple of times but never had a go at the DLC 'The Following' which is a new map and the main draw is you get a dune buggy to drive around in. Im enjoying it, same sort of stuff as the main game, it looks great and chopping up zombies is always fun.
Also its so great to go back to old games you played with beefier hardware. Im now playing it maxed out and it really is a pretty good looking/running game.
I got DL2 on Humble but the key doesnt work, sad life.
