Every R* game that has cheevs on Steam doesn't have them on EGS. Also Anno 1800 has Steam achievements but the EGS version doesn't. While those games released before the achievement mandate, I don't think Epic would go out of their way to enforce that rule for them. Epic will always treat the big boys with kid gloves.Any extra work (as small is it can be) adds friction and considering that their cheevos were more restrictive for some games it might not be worth it.

Of course kiwi_pro/Eisberg is in that thread to defend EGS, as well as some other astroturfers using the classic "valve does nothing" and "only a minor vocal minority hates EGS" memes. I'm curious if indie devs actually believe this nonsense.AFAIK Epic made a tool to import Steam cheevs. I also came across this thread awhile back where an individual published their game on EGS and didn't have a good experience. An Epic employee responded to him as well.
Surprised Redditor(bunchofnumbershere) isn't there too.Of course kiwi_pro/Eisberg is in that thread to defend EGS, as well as some other astroturfers using the classic "valve does nothing" and "only a minor vocal minority hates EGS" memes. I'm curious if indie devs actually believe this nonsense.
10% wishlists on EGS compared to Steam is still a lot more than I expected.
I wouldn't be surprised if that's an Eisberg alt as well. There can't possibly be two of these guys, right? Right?Surprised Redditor(bunchofnumbershere) isn't there too.

The best thing about the Epic Game Store failing has been Epic and the developers that were deluded enough to believe them slowly realizing that the customer-friendly policies that Steam has are there for a reason, that they actually increase sales. It is so satisfying to see these dumbasses start from a position of "user reviews are garbage (because we can't control the message), do away with them!" and over time they realize that "....oh, user reviews create a network effect? They can give a big boost to my game and help it go viral? Well shit, put some on our website that no one will visit!".Instead of finding reviews on the store page, the developers of Witchfire had their Discord community write up mock reviews that they posted on their website:
The Astronauts
Before the release, all, or almost all AAA games go through mock-up reviews. Certain gaming journalists receive the game, usually in beta, and review it as if it were a regular press review. This...www.theastronauts.com

Yes, we noticed this too and while we don't have proof, we think it's the latter given Eyes Out team size. Unlikely they have two games in-dev at the same time but we shall see.Back in 2021, a developer called Eyes Out announced they signed a deal with Epic Games Publishing. However, yesterday Eyes Out announced a title with Blumhouse Games. So either Eyes Out has a second game in development, or publishing rights moved from Epic to Blumhouse.
As I said multiple times, you can bet AW2 will be on Steam at some point while the other two are still in dev but who knows how they will perform.Either day, EGP simply hasn't been successful. Rumbleverse shuttered in 6 months, they've released a handful of low budget games that didn't go anywhere and Alan Wake 2 has yet to be profitable. I expect AW2 to crawl to profitability this year with the DLC and physical release, but that's the biggest "hit" so far. There's also the fact Ueda's game and the next Playdead titles were announced nearly five years ago and there hasn't been a peep from them now watch as one of those gets announced at a show this weekend and I look silly with all my doomspeak.
Too bad Steam's loopholes got closed, good times -_-
Treasure trove of unannounced stuff.
Guessing FF16 and Rebirth are among the codenames.
Guessing that's the Red Dead Redemption remaster.
I also found some mobile games like Subway Surfers and Call of Duty Mobile.
I also found a lot of troll entries including stuff like Pokemon and Counter-Strike so take things with a grain of salt. Still if you search through organizations it's easier to find stuff.

It's Joever.Update 5:55PM – After its database was seemingly scraped for a number of unannounced game projects, Epic has issued a statement via email to confirm that it’s since released an update that will prevent third-party tools like EpicDB from continuing to unearth yet-to-be published games.
“We released an update tonight so third-party tools can’t surface any new unpublished product titles from the Epic Games Store catalog,” the company said.
I think that was Sergey personally since it prevented SteamSpy from operating.Didn’t epic get upset when Valve changed steam so they couldn’t scrape friends lists anymore?
He's still making nearly $100k a year off that Patreon.I think that was Sergey personally since it prevented SteamSpy from operating.

still we got some nice info out of thisSo now EGS is useless again...

Only on PC it seems. And the contract mentions life-time exclusive. Incredible that Epic keeps betting on exclusivity to make their dying store successful.CI GAMES S.E.: Podpisanie Binding Term Sheet z Epic Games Inc.
Lords of the Fallen 2 will be an Epic Published title
It’s probably defined in a document/contract with Epic we won’t get to see.The phrasing used in the announcement is "exclusive distribution rights on PC for the entire product life cycle" which I admit has me confused. What's the 'life cycle' of a videogame?
I have a feeling it's defined in a way so Epic can prevent CI Games publishing "another" version of the game to Steam in a few years. The phrasing used in the announcement is "exclusive distribution rights on PC for the entire product life cycle" which I admit has me confused. What's the 'life cycle' of a videogame?
That is exactly what I did as soon as I read the announcement.Well, that means the first game is getting out of my wishlist, good to know!
I think one test case will be Alan Wake Remastered, if I remember correctly it was the first released game under Epic's publishing scheme. Its release date was October 2021 so if the period of exclusivity was three years or more we'll know within a few months. Finally, I wonder if some of the other publishing deals are finding ways to release on steam?!? Just with the specific nature of the lifetime clause.
