Why not duplicate? I been using SRP for years for when I am out of the house, via phone, so I really have no idea heh.
If you're streaming out of the house there's no need too, my case of use is playing on the couch/bed while having twitch or a video in the main setup

Anyone else keep having Steam forget half their billing address?

I've ticked the box to remember it, it remembers my postcode and country, but I have to put my street address in every few days.

Do we have a list of the Ubisoft games that added Steam achievements?

I'd recommend Apollo over Sunshine if you want to set up a virtual monitor and not duplicate your screen.
Sunshine (with VDD/Virtual Display Driver) can already do these things. Apollo is merely a repack of Sunshine and SudoVDA (which is a fork of VDD)

What are the advantages of using SudoVDA instead of VDD (apart from convenience) ?

I honestly think Lorelei and the Laser Eyes is a too difficulty puzzle game for me. Not ready for it. Tried to check something up and some answers for some puzzles are randomized too.

Anybody have an opinion on this fan compilation of all the pre-3 Rainbow Six games? It seems pretty promising what with the last update being days ago and especially as Rogue Spear and others aren't even sold any more. I was looking into the Dreamcast Rogue Spear (which actually supports mkb) and found this.
Edit: well, I tried it, it seems pretty well made, everything is here including terrorist hunt and whatever other options and it performs fine (but Idk what API it uses, I can't see fps or take screens with rivatuner/afterburner) and it just feels a lot like playing SWAT 3 minus all the freeze/surrender/cuff/report shenanigans, you kill them all and with the planning phase and ordering strategic stuff R6 is of course known for. Mechanics/controls/functions/AI are the same across all of it so you get things like leaning the original game didn't actually have regardless of the content you play.

Happy new year!

I forgot to reply to Gabbo in the last thread, but I don't really know about retro games on Linux, sorry. It's not what I've been playing.
It's all good. I figure I built a retro pc anyway, if I switched, I could just use that for all the retro titles I have installed on my main pc, it was just an issue in the past (10ish years ago). Since I don't know how Proton works outside of Linux Steam I'd have some reading to do if I tried it again. I'd just have to figure out the distro that worked best for me (Fedora was my go-to in the past).

Thankfully I only bought two small indie games and some dlc during the sale, and nothing from the main list in the OP interests me. My wallet can breath and my focus can stay on point.

Whining about diversity is pretty chuddish
Again, I don't follow the guy so no idea if he has right-ish views/follows/likes, nor do I care enough to check, sorry. Context matters for parsing things correctly, I just can't be arsed to spend my time checking it.
But I understood the tweet as saying he thinks enforcing adding diversity on a work of art is a not necessarily a good thing and I agree with that.
Are his games just works of art or commercial products (or both!) is another thing entirely.

How are the Sniper Elite games ? A new one is coming and I have had III for ages in my 'Yeah, I guess I could play' that list.

He stated that if adding diversity to the game doesn't make the game better in some form, then you should not add diversity. I don't see how that is being a chud. Adding diversity for the sake of diversity is not a good thing. However, if it is well implemented and is supported by the game design, no problem.

Quick example for me personally: the Life is Strange games, especiallty the first one would not be good if they removed the diversity of the game, diversity was not only just part of that game's design, it was a very important part.

There is no such thing as ‘enforcing adding diversity’.

How come cis white people add value by default but everyone else has to justify their existence in media.
