Well the way I look at it is that most major 3rd party devs will try their best to release their games on the Switch 2 for 4-5 years tops. Then afterwards 3rd party support will start to dry up just like it did for the Switch 1. At least with any ports the Switch 2 does get will be beneficial for the Steam Deck.Im afriad, looking at social medias and nintendo focused forums, a lot of people will be settling for a lot of dissapointments. They are viewing the Switch 2 as the second coming of christ that will bring all 3rd party titles to the Switch 2.
I'm waiting for UPS to deliver my copy. I'm also waiting for the Switch 2 because my Switch 1 is dead. So, y'all been hitting that Xenoblade Chronic?
This but with the Fire Emblem 4 remake.Twilight Princess HD please
They will just increase the price for EU and keep the US the same.
I think further price hikes in Europe would be untenable now they’ve announced the EU price and admitted the pre-order delay (ostensibly only in America) is due to tariffs. They will just increase the price for EU and keep the US the same.
If it's $600+ I'm sitting out. I'm a Nintendo simp, but even I have limits.Incoming 600$ Switch 2.
Curious if people will cave in.
Correction: the United States is doomed.Nintendo is Doomed
It probably did, but based on the tariffs they predicted.Nebulys Oh I was just joking about how it seemed the EU price seemed to subsidize US
The implementation of mouse controls in Metroid Prime 4 is nothing short of absolutely fascinating, however. The most genius touch is this: it’s not a toggle. That means you can hold one Joy-Con 2 in each hand normally, and use them like two halves of a regular controller. In this setup, Prime 4 plays in much the same way as the other titles in this series. But if you orient that right-hand Joy-Con into the proper position and place it onto a surface, the game automatically understands your intent and flips you over to mouselook. No menu fiddling, no faffing about - it’s just there.
Once I hit a boss battle, the controller action ceased entirely. This hulking beast had classic pulsating and glowing weak points that were only temporarily vulnerable - and being able to use mouse controls to be deadly accurate meant I shredded the boss much more efficiently than some around me who played the game a more traditional way.
