New week, new thread! What are you playing?

Progress of Yumina the Ethereal:
  • Act 1 Bad Ending
  • Main Route: Kurokawa Kirara - WIP. Chapter 8
  • Main Route: Okitsu Ai
  • Main Route: Midorishita Yumina
  • True Ending Epilogue
Dungeons:
  • Marane's Maw - 30/120
  • Mezelt Tomb - 30/120
  • Key to Heaven Irukaruo - 20/120
  • Path of Cracks- 10/120
Characterization kept improving since chapter 7. Very enjoyable. The writer did a good job to reveal Kirara's complex personal history and emotional baggage. Some details were left out but I expect that those will be further illustrated in the other two routes.

Gameplay-wise, I got some broken skills from the main story so the dungeon crawling was not too bad. The exploration progress is locked behind main story progress, and the maximum level is 30/120 per dungeon for this first route, so there is a total of 30 floors remaining to go before reaching the ending. So far so good.

I also beat the main story of Fire Emblem Warriors. It was very short. History Maps next. Going to get Lyn asap because she is my favorite character in the whole series.

A little bit of Kingdom Hearts 3, but not that much.
Instead I had a sudden mecha itch and bought Armored Core 6. It's fun. Just hit Chapter 3. Raged a lot against the Chapter 1 boss, but I think I'm getting the hang of things and Chapter 2 was fairly smooth sailing in comparison.
New Genshin update as well with both new main story and a hyped new character that got the full backing of the marketing machine with 2 theme songs and multiple great animations, lol. Her story was very good too. Also has a surprisingly fun auto-chess event.

I finished Fantasian over the weekend. The final boss was quite something. There is NG+, but I can't even imagine the grind it will take to bring the party to the recommended level. Not playing that anytime soon.

Resuming my suspended playthrough of Dragon Quest III - HD for my next game. Thankfully the game is easy and comfy and the random encounters are short affairs. Just what I needed.

On the VN side, I'm continuing with Rewrite+. It's my first time reading it, and it feels so different from other Key works. Not doubting Romeo Tanaka's skills as a writer, of course. But during the 30 hours I've spent with the game so far, the undercurrent of sadness (lol) permeating the daily lives of our heroines is curiously absent. I'm still in the common route, so it'll definitely change later once I've entered one of the character routes, though.

I'm currently playing through Tainted Grail: The fall of Avalon and it's scratching the Skyrim itch.

Just finished Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty in the weekend, and now I'm back to Tamriel with Elder Scrolls Online.

I'm still amazed that it's possible for you to actually have player agency and choices in an MMORPG. It's quite unprecedented.

How solo friendly is ESO?

Very. Story content will lead you to various places on the map including single player story dungeon. Sometimes you will also visit shared space dungeons, where you can meet other players in the dungeons doing the same objective as you.

The dialogues are all voiced so it's pretty much Elder Scrolls with (almost) the entirety of Tamriel playable. One can possibly play this game forever and will not run out of content.

Went back to Boltgun, currently 5/8 for chapter 2, but the heat isn't making it easy. I'm probably going to mix it with another non-action game next week to keep myself from combusting into a fireball:sweaty-blob:

I picked up Death Stranding 2 so I have an excuse to turn on my PS5.

The first two hours: eh this is fine but not much is happening.

The next hour: PEAK
