I saw this on Era:

Court documents reveal that PlayStation 4 generated 46.8 percent of Fortnite’s total revenues from March 2018 through July 2020, while Xbox One, the second-highest platform, generated 27.5 percent. iOS ranked fifth, with just 7 percent of total revenue. The remaining 18.7 percent would have been split between Android, Nintendo Switch, and PCs.
Nobody plays on EGS, not even people looking to play Fortnite. [UWSL]:coffee-blob:[/UWSL]

Epic's logic as to why it's okay for consoles to charge 30%. (AKA most of our revenue comes from those platforms and we'd be in big trouble if we got kicked off).

It simply confirms mobile platforms were sacrificial lambs for Tim's crusade.

Him recognizing the value of a platform's marketing and efforts kind of put EGS in a bad light as well as the idea that every cut is equal, which he has been pushing since the beginning.

LOL Apple bring the heat to Timmy's front yard, 3000 jobs, gonna be hard for Timmy to maintain his Fortnite Skins sweatshop on North Carolina if Apple poach his "employees".
Apple is building a new campus in NC because of its growing tech industry so it is purely coincidence, but it is pretty funny that Epic bought a mall a few months ago and Tim got one upped by his mortal enemy. I bet he takes it extremely personally.

There's straight up ads on news in US? WTF.
I assume that advertising is much more free in US than it is in EU
No joke, there was just a local news story on the new Stouffers Mac and Cheese Lasagna flavor this week. I also caught the same local news reporting on the new Google Nest Hub sleep tracking function and how great it is.

Here in the states, it is way too common to have straight up ads as news stories, not even just ads cleverly disguised as news stories, which is still bad mind you.

Reporting on Amazon union busting? :shrugblob:

Report on Jalapeño Cheeto Flavored Kraft Mac n’ Cheese (also a real news blip a few months ago on the local news)? :fingergunsblob:

Where can we find this audio feed?
Afaik, there are witnesses and sealed material every day, so it's phone only.
Youtube streams were only for pre-trial conferences. (Guess they can't easily switch youtube temporarily off?)

Is that what that hard to read document lashman posted in the main pc thread was showing?
I have a hard time believing Dead Island2 will come out anywhere, let alone on EGS at this point
Yeah it's the same thing.

I got a feeling Dead Island 2 will eventually comes out though who knows what state it will be in. I don't think we're looking at a Team Fortress 2 situation but more of a Duke Nukem Forever situation.

I think those MAUs might be for May 2020 due to the bullet point for House Party? I'm not quite sure though.

Fortnite made $9.2 billion in 2018 and 2019 while Unreal Engine only made $221 million in the same time frame. I guess that puts the rest the theory that Unreal Engine is Epic's real money maker.

I think those MAUs might be for May 2020 due to the bullet point for House Party? I'm not quite sure though.

It was as of June 2020 which is before Fortnite got booted from iOS so it might be lower at this point. It also shows EGS at 45 million MAU at that time period.

Apparently Fortnite only made $2.5 billion last year? That doesn't seem right though considering the PC number is only $308 million and first party EGS revenue was $435 million. I highly doubt Rocket League made up the difference.
