Game Fest is only a few weeks away and there's plenty of exclusives they can get.![]()
Tim's got another banger
I would be happy to be wrong. Besides, the rest of 2022 is looking pretty barren in general since publishers tried to cram everything into Q1 and there have been numerous delays. I'm fine with that though since I can catch up on other games. That's what we thought last year too, but it was pretty dry for Epic.
Capybara's Grindstone has now been on Epic for more than a year. Hopefully we get a Steam release soon

Yeah, it's been a bit over a year now but there a mega sale on-going so it is likely that, perhaps, they will wait until that is over (also the 1 year mark was weekend, so yeah)maybe Mor can ask them
that sweet curation and no porny games is going well
I know nothing about this title, but doing some research there is DLC for straight up porn, however the base game looks no worse than something like The Witcher 3. It certainly straddles the line and I wonder if Epic will allow the porn DLC to be sold on their store.that sweet curation and no porny games is going well
My understanding is that, on Oculus [Meta’s virtual reality technology] platforms currently, Oculus runs a store and they charge the fee of 30 per cent but they don’t force all developers to use their store and they don’t block competing stores, so it’s not analogous to the Apple situation.
*If you have pre-ordered through Epic, you should have received a refund - if not, please reach out to them here: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/contact-us
Almost everything Epic said that they would do with EGS turned out to be a lie. They are still very much on track about the things they said they wouldn't do though, like adding forums, user reviews, discovery or innovative features.![]()
Sniper Elite 5 was pulled from EGS for an unknown reason.
It's currently 25% off at Fanatical and Green Man so I think that can be ruled out. If anything you'd think they'd want it on EGS because of the higher cut and presumably more sales volume than a key site.Apparently their review system is close to rolling out and has no text, just a rating and high level questions
I wonder if it was removed due to the coupon and not wanting to have it apply
Do we have sales number for earlier Rebellion EGS experiments? Your reasoning seems likely to me but id love to see their numbers so we can back it upMaybe they didn’t want to support another version. While releasing on EGS is not like releasing a console game, we’ve seen several instances of bugs in the EGS and Windows Store versions that the Steam version doesn’t have.
Why bother spending money making your game work with Epic’s store/API/service and whatever when no one is going to buy it and Epic aren’t carrying the can for it?

There are rumors that the big tech antitrust bill is in peril. One part of the bill would have forced Apple to allow alternate app stores and payment processors. As the bill might not pass, and may never pass, I'm sure you can figure out why he's in such a foul mood.I sometimes think he rolls his face over the keyboard and lets the autocorrect do the work.
What’s he winging about now?
Plot twist; Tim now has to pay developers/publishers if he wants their games on EGS at all.
Sniper Elite 5 was pulled as Tim must not have ponied up the money in time.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control Sniper Elite 5 was not available on the Epic Store at launch but will release on that platform in the future,” it said. “We apologise for any inconvenience.”

It's Twitter fault that the graphics and animation looks like this
We must have different definitions of triple A.
Gala Games’ GALA token has a market capitalization of $520 million, which is far below its peak in November of $5.4 billion.
