Interesting counter argument on Metal Gear Survive

I'm not sure I'd fully agree with everything he says in the video, but I've said before and I'll say it again, I always thought that MG Survive is on the brink of being really good, even excellent.
The survival, going in the dust, stealthing around the crystal heads, navigating in the dust with the compass and distant lights and shit etc. All that was great.
All the forced tower defense/horde mode stuff, build your fences and poke the crystal boys through them with a stick? Not really all that fun, and there's way too much of it.
It really needed someone in like halfway through the dev be like, hey maybe we should focus more on this dust shit that's actually really kind of engaging, and maybe do less of this horde mode co-op multiplayer garbage that everyone else is doing and doing it better.
Ahoy on RollerCoaster Tycoon and how it was the last of its kind, in a way (as in: a best-selling game in pre-Steam-times that was made by a solo developer).
As always, a good video, on a game I love; and Ahoy just has a relaxed and pleasant way of doing videos.
