The button was pressed a bit too early, but I'm fine with Lind since she is the last member of my main Neural Cloud team (outside of the NC originals which currently have 0 chances of ever becoming playable). Obviously Leva has to be next right?

Never lose hope! I am fine with Lind, too. But I also desperately want to continue reading the main story.

Now we know Lind is next, we can see how they will plan out the patches after Leva/Robella. Basically, it's either Lainie and Lenna (or both at the same time).

With Lind's banner ending just before the anniversary, the next events will most likely be the UMPs bizarre's adventures (featuring RO) which should take 2/3 months to complete, just enough time for a new major event, and so it's likely they will be followed by DEFY's return
I would be very surprised if the banner order will differ. Lenna (a first half-year doll in CN) has been delayed beyond the first year at this point so they really can't delay her any further. Also with Lind technically we already got all the "filler" dolls between Deep Oblivion and Corposant so unless they throw global a curveball then we should not expect any of the recent CN dolls to appear before march at least. The only exception would be if they pull another triple unrelated event banner like they did with Andoris, Belka and Jiangyu, but this can only work with Lenna and Laine. since Lewis, Helen and Phaetusa don't have a big enough connection to pull that off

Right, I totally forgot to spoiler tag the dolls in my previous post.

I don't need to say anything about Leva. (Just look at my avatar :D). RO is also one of my favorite characters from GFL1. So I am extremely hyped for their patch. In addition, I have been reading GFL1 story lately to prepare myself for all the upcoming references. My current plan is to finish reading the main story before AN94/AK15 hitting global.

Finished reading Florence event story. I didn't expect to read a whodunit story. I like the main premise and framework but the execution is kinda messy. Had a difficulty time to read through some nodes because the dialogues spoken by characters outside Florence (including the Commander) were quite badly written. They feel overly long and pretentious at times. The resulting story is pretty cool and I like how Florence as a character can stand on her own.

Behold, the rarest doll in the game. The only doll whose rerun banner got skipped not once but twice already. Hope you got her during her first appearance otherwise who knows if you'll ever get her

I can't believe that Mica completely forgot about Peri. So disrespectful. I got her within 20 pulls back then so I'm safe.

Also, forgot to mention that the last event stage has incredible lighting. Mosin looks gorgeous...

Finished reading Lind event story. I enjoyed it a lot.

I realized that I enjoy reading the conspiracy of different factions more than anything else. The intention of Girard Group continues to become clearer. I also read somewhere that Lind event supposedly takes place after Leva/RO event, and the first node of this event confirms it. Can't wait to read their story when they eventually arrives at global. Also, what a giant piece of shit Karl's father is. Geez I hope we will pay him a visit in the future.

Frostfall Squad finally made their debut in the story event. Really enjoyed the dynamics between the members: the strict but flexible QJ, the calm and reliable Tololo, the upbeat genius Cheeta and the hot head Lind. The power of friendship might be a cliché, but when it works, it works wonderfully. We also got a glimpse into the current situation of Commander's former employer/home G&K and our trustful (still single, I presumed) ex-superior Helian. In the story, Helian sent out 2 support echelons as backups so I am certain that we will see more dolls affliated with G&K in the future.

Now that this one is out of the way. Please give us the main story Mica!!! In the meantime, I should head back to read the dusty memories of the Frostfall Squad. Have been saving them till this event.

Edit: I should also check out Lind's past as a doll for clinical experimentation. Probably in Neural Cloud?

Man, Florence sucked me dry so I wasn't planning on going all in (since the future is also filled with Dolls I like) but it seems Lind really wanted to come home (some of those came way before hitting the 40 for the pity and that one accidental Tololo was my last to V6 her). Guess recreating my Neural Cloud most used trio was my fate
And guess using all my luck before Leva was also my fate too but, well I'll deal with that in the future

Oh this next gunsmoke is gonna be fun before I go back to auto it after the first day

Also, reading her affinity/covenant story and the first part of her event made me realize they actually call back to her NC background a lot (unlike other dolls that appeared in both GF2 and NC so far), so since I played it I'll post about it here: Lind was created as a medical doll, but unlike others like Colphne and Florence which are specialized in actually being "medics" Lind was specifically created as a "test subject doll". And because of this her frame is as close as possible to a human: she has "organs", she has a "circulatory system", a "brain" with neural connections, a "digestive system" and so on. I used quotations because obviously they're not real organs, but are as close as possible to real ones, which is why she also feels "pain" like humans do. There is a specific sentence that highlights the reason she was created in NC: "prased be Lind, because she takes on herself the suffering of many". She got experimented on so drugs, surgeries and procedures could be tested on a doll before being performed on humans. And since this series is known for suffering those surgeries also included things like cutting and ripping her body apart to test pain limits
Her sugar addiction also comes from that. The dopamine rush after injesting sugar helped counter the endorphine rush from the painful experiments she was subjected, and that's how she got "addicted"

Meanwhile I have made the difficult decision to skip Lind so that I can save pulls for Leva and RO. I did use 30 pulls to get Nikketa's signature though.

Thanks for the write up on Lind. I will definitely check out the PNC story soon. Managed to find a playlist on youtube. :D

Finished Lind's event. A nice event, but you can tell it was originally released after Deep Oblivion because Frostfall is technically dealing with what happens after it. Seeing the whole Frostfall squad having some real screen time was nice, and Tololo had my favorite dialogue. Like many events (too many events at this point) the story is filled with potential plot points to expand in the future (Is the mind control virus the same from Peri's event? More "smart" Varkagers? More Girard Group? More illegal undeground doll arenas? What/How is Griffin doing? What will happen to the 170 rescued dolls? Girard stole IOP/Persica's technology?). As for the event, the pacing was good, the event used Lind well, but Karl was just too pathetic of a "villain". Maybe he didn't deserve his final fate, but it doesn't change the fact he wasn't great, and not-Krolic-09 feels like was added just to avoid modelling a boss unit
I guess we will see more of Girard (and Karl's father) soon enough, and maybe some of these plot points will finally move ahead a bit
Ready for Deep Oblivion now
