Maybe i am misremembering because I can't find it, but i distinctly remember reading an article when it launched on PS4 about how the game is utilizing a lot more streaming than similar games for better performance results

Yakuza is probably going to be announced alongside Xbox ports, that's why is taking so long, but I doubt it will happen before Yakuza 7 is released so, expect a Q1 2021 :blobclosecry:

I don't think I'll bother with a 2070 at 1440p. I'll wait until the RTX 3070 is available.

I have zero doubts that the rest of the Yakuza games are coming as well as Judgement, it would be nuts if they stopped porting the old ones now.
It's just a question of when, not if.

Lab42 is still working on something after all.

I can only imagine Cyberpunk demanding more resources than Horizon so I think its delay will benefit many people since we will probably have the new 3000 series released by then.
Last rumours literally said
GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti will release on September 17 (a date we’ve seen mentioned in previous rumours) and the RTX 3070 and 3060 will release in October and November.

Medan being only on console is disappointing but unsurprising given that that's been the case for every other Bamco game to launch on XGP over the past year, but Darksiders Genesis skipping PC is baffling given that Darksiders III was on console and PC last year, and I'm pretty sure other THQN games have been as well. sigh
 
By the way, I have discovered that I had been permanently banned for spam from the forum of PC Gamer. I think I have posted there 3 times in total.

I cannot access any information about the ban. I was not even aware of it. It might have happened months ago. I suspect it was because I must have posted a link to Steam250 (do not ban me here) in a thread about hidden gems. I am not affiliated with this website, it is just a site which I like to browse a bit every day.

I have tried to appeal the ban by contacting their email address, but it looks like I will be permanently ignored. I guess I won't be reading PC Gamer anymore.

every Apple Arcade game that isn't fundamentally designed around the touchscreen or mobile as a platform is going to come to PC eventually, with very few exceptions. I wouldn't lose sleep over it

Fall Guys doesn't have the same skill ceiling as something like Rocket League, but they weren't going for that kind of esports title anyway. It's a party game. It's easy to jump into, and goes by in a flash.

As long as they support it with new stages and other creative modes it will be fine for a while.

It is 4 player teams only, right? Would at least make it double or triple to really make it a party game.

In my case I'll be upgrading to a 3070 for many games (Horizon, Control, Metro Exodus, Cyberpunk 2077), RTX games give a really hard time to my 2070 at 1440p.
Hopefully Ampere brings great improvements in ray tracing performance.

They should have made a giant open world singleplayer Avengers game. Something really cool with each character having their own small story.

Potential wasted in favor of GaaS, skins and wtvr else that will ultimately just be a long repetitive/boring grind.

Hopefully Rocksteady makes something more interesting with the rumored Suicide Squad stuff.

Well yeah, however, we don't know when or what planning does Sega have, cause there's also things like Sakura Wars :/
 
I hope the step hardware requirements won't stop too many people from buying HZD.
I'm curious to see how the game performs on PS4/Ps4Pro equivalent hardware and settings.

The weakest of the lineup is Dan, the rest are solid choices. The problem is those release dates, nearly a year until we can play Oro or Akira. They are still under a tight budget from the looks of it...

It's not a budget issue, it's a COVID issue. This season very likely only exists to cover for the next FG being delayed due to the pandemic. We were very likely getting SF6/Darkstalkers 4/Whatever announced on the CPT finals for a 2021/2022 release but that's donezo now.

I'll fucking take Capcom throwing Rival Schools fans a bone.

Amusing that Nintendo and NOA are working hand in hand to make sure that if you want Pikmin 3 Deluxe, you are paying $60. Announce the game after vouchers expire, de list wii u version and the DLC for the wii u. They'd send out Mario agents in overalls to used game stores to take pikmin 3 off shelves if they could.

But it isn't "anti consumer". Never that. Only Sony is anti consumer and its buddy Valve is DOUBLE ANTI CONSUMER.

I hope that Stranger of Sword city is a free upgrade, I bought it and started playing it awhile back but got distracted and always wanted to go back to it, with a better version I rather way for it.
