Im getting 46.63 download and 13.64 up.

I should be getting a minimum of 67 download and so im onto the service provider to see what up. Im sure its actually been a bit low for a while, ive noticed Steam downloading at a lower rate than ive seen in the past.

When I called my old ISP to quit their service they offer a 50% discount for a year. Might be a good tactic to see if both of you can get a better speed/price from them.

So, about Naraka.

As lasho pointed out, NetEase completely ignored Valve's recommended regional pricing, but since the game felt so good to play during the playtests I was willing to get it anyway, as long as there is a player base.

I decided to check the Steam forums to see if there's any SA community for the game and how populated it is and this is what I found out:

Basically, what I'm getting from this is that while the game had servers in South America during the playtests, there aren't any SA servers in the full game. And here they are promising nodes. So as far as we know, they don't even plan to have actual servers here. Fuck that.

Here's my internet speed:

A pretty sizeable Ender Lilies patch just released. I might wind up double dipping on Steam during a sale. It'll be Perfect on Deck™.

Everytime I come across a new monster in Iceborne I'm just in awe again. This game is so impressive.
Namielle might now be my favorite monster. Absolutely love the design and fight. The water effects look amazing.
Also its armor looks fantastic.

They are joking, after months of silence they post this

tl;dr:

With the new minimap system software update you are able to see more and navigate better. Drive fast, drive safe.” — Andrzej, Programmer, CD PROJEKT RED

No more clouded judgement in Clouds

"It was one of my first tasks when I moved to this project and I was digging into code for a long time because I wanted to understand our UI videos system, and at the end I realised that the problem is in video setup. Value for video time was shorter than the video sequence. This way, players will better understand the decision they are making in this story sequence." — Natalia, UI Programmer, CD PROJEKT RED

“Swiss army” mercs

“For our players, this feature will mean safer experimentation with builds. It is easily accessible and affordable for everyone, so there is no need to hesitate while investing in particular perks.” — Katarína, Gameplay Designer, CD PROJEKT RED

unfortunately not in my case ... that 30/7 i'm getting is the max this crappy DSL connection can handle ... and there's no fibre here, so i'm fucked

:negative-blob:
1 year ago I had a fiber/coaxial hybrid connection (docsys) in an old network that was severely needing maintenance/renewal, it was supposed to be 250/15 Mbps, but in reality it was 170Mbps down peak in the morning and throughout the day the down speed would get lower and lower, reaching below 5Mbps at night.

Thankfully another ISP (Vodafone) expanded their full fiber (FTTH) network to reach here around that time. Hope something similar happens there.. someday. x-x

Lmao every single time they show some sign of life, my hope that they've been secretly working on a Witcher-style Enhanced Edition feels significantly less realistic. At this point I think bug fixes is probably the best we can hope for. Maybe the DLC will improve some other things but I'm not going to expect anything.

I still really loved the game and I'm looking forward to replay it once the DLC is out but it's so disappointing that coming in on a year since launch they still haven't made any kind of significant improvements to the game.

I liked game too but releasing update on Patches after months of silence and highlighting some minor things that should have been there from the start or patched long time ago while your game has other major issues and lack of content really is tone deaf. When Hello Games f-ed up with No Man's Sky they simply went silent and released major updates (still doing it today 5 years later). CDPR should learn from them.

Just a heads up. 75% off sale for Forza Motorsport 7 will expire in 13 hours. It was supposed to run until 15th of September...
I remembered trying to play the game through gamepass but I had issues with crashing on my PC. I'll just wait for the next Forza Motorsport to come out.

Fantasy author and Ossian Studios lead designer Luke Scull is thrilled to announce The Blades of Netheril, an unofficial sequel to the Neverwinter Nights original campaign! The story is a direct continuation of the Wailing Death storyline.

As well as acting as a direct sequel to the original campaign, The Blades of Netheril will serve as a sequel to Shadows of Undrentide, Hordes of the Underdark, and Luke’s previous AL series of modules.

The first chapter of the Blades of Netheril is targeting a release date of June 18th, 2022—exactly 20 years after Neverwinter Nights was originally released on Microsoft Windows. Subsequent chapters will follow six to 12 months later.

The Blades of Netheril is currently planned to be available free for owners of Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition on Windows/Mac OS X, while other versions may follow later. Multiplayer is planned but may be added post-release.

About Luke Scull:

Luke Scull was the lead designer and writer of NWNEE: Tyrants of the Moonsea, NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate, The Shadow Sun, and the Gemmell award nominated The Grim Company trilogy of novels. He also created the classic NWN Hall of Fame modules Siege of Shadowdale and Crimson Tides of Tethyr and is a veritable depository of Forgotten Realms lore. The Blades of Netheril is his personal project and has no affiliation with Ossian Studios.

Applying my google-fu to grab public sales data from Steam News.

I've been looking forward to this milestone for a bit now, we have reached half a million downloads!

Super Bomberman R Online reached 3 Million Downloads!

During Beta, more than a million adventurers entered Aeternum.

[We] wanted to share an amazing milestone that we've recently hit - 1 million players on iOS!

More than 300 thousand copies of the game have been sold so far, which makes it one of the most successful releases in its genre.

We are only 2,000 wishlists away from our next milestone: 15,000 Steam Wishlists!

Here's my speedtest result. My advertised speed is 150Mbps down and 30Mbps up, so it's within the realms of acceptability here. Paying £30 a month for this and I have no caps or limits at all.

Oh... I'm late to e-dick ISP comparison. My is just average (fiber):

BUT, because I'm a weirdo I actually have two. The second one on coaxial cable with crappy upload:
So that way when one goes down at the most inconvenient times (of course) I can continue to work and can deal with their terrible support without going crazy... (4G signal here is to unstable to use as backup).

Everything held together by some very old and messy Linux scripts routing everything. So you know...I can download a game from Steam and torrent .... those Linux distros... at the same time.
