That should be enough for the holidays..

There are 2 apps for the standard and collector editions:

and there is a DLC to upgrade standard edition to collector edition, which results in a lower total cost, but you don't get the collector app in the process.

What would you say is the best purchase of the two, madjoki? Is there any trap which I would fall into if I went for the standard+DLC edition?

Galyonkin: Indie game prices are too LOW.
Epic Store: Let's remove additional 10€ from prices.

Yeah, Epic pays the difference, but humans compare real prices and not prices paid to dev.

Standard edition comes with Deluxe upgrade DLC. Mights as well get that and save 0.7€ unless you're collector and want both :P
Because data files are the same, I assume content is exactly the same.

Thanks. Standard and Collector editions also feature different badges and community items, so I might get both. :kappa:

Haven't really found anything in Steam's winter sale yet, but I'm eying a few games. Let's see how the 3rd party sales turn out.

But at least Genshin Impact 1.2 came out today and it seems to be very good and very meaty. Looking forward to when I can play it later today :steam_pigblanket:

You are right. :lul: I cannot purchase the DLC.

I thought you suggested to get standard+DLC rather than collector, because it is cheaper, but standard already includes the DLC. It is the first time that I see an un-purchasable DLC with a price tag.

Friend of mine who is huge Super Meat Boy fan (he finished it 100%) tried SMBF and deleted game after 30 minutes. To say that he was disappointed would be understatement.

Hmm, any particular reason? Or just a general lack of quality?

Looks like that Prelude to the Fallen port is still alive.
Oh and apparently they're working on a bunch of other projects too
Shiravune revealed that they have plans to continue to release visual novels in the west, with a catalog of titles from different budgets. The team revealed that they are in the adventure stages of translation and development of at least eight new titles, both large and small.

This is going to be fucking good next year :evilblob:

I've heard rumblings on Twitter that the Nocturne PS4 port is barebones, to put it mildly. Uneven texture works, slowdowns in UI, 30fps only, low-bitrate music and SFX. It simply doesn't inspire confidence for the eventual PC port.

to be fair, I expect a lot of those things to be fixed for the western release, as we are seeing multiple patches being released for the game for the Japanese version.

I only had what I got from my Cyberpunk refund to spend but I picked up We Were Here Too, Just Shapes and Beats, Voxelgram, DJMax Cytus + Deemo DLC, and Bug Fables. Overall I think i made the right decision refunding CP2077.

Put the rest aside for OMORI but they wont say what the price will be (kickstarter was $15 so its assumed the game will be $20).

tfw EGS is polluting the historical lows search results in gg.deals ... :dana_tense:
I mostly like gg.deals layout, but stuff like this is where ITAD clearly has the edge.
I have the EGS disabled in the Store-settings, which also removes them from the historical low consideration and have a custom 0.8 multiplicator for Humble's Choice subscriber discount.

Microsoft removed the Age of Empires franchise bundle and updated the State of Decay bundle by adding the soundtracks. I was going to buy both bundles since it made Age of Empires 3 and State of Decay 2 like 3-5 dollars cheaper :(
The definitive edition bundle is still available at least.

Thank you Tomasety for doing so much research on prices and historical low whenever there is a sale. I think all of us really appreciate it.

Also in different news I'm still really pissed at the behavior of companies forbidding VMs from playing their game because reasons. Looking at you, Genshin Impact and RDR2. Kernerl-level Anti-cheat notwithstanding, this just denies access to people for no valid reason I can understand.

SMB Forever news is disappointing but sadly not too surprising either :(

Anyway I've now finished Cyberpunk 2077's campaign and that will almost certainly be my last game for the year, bringing the total of games beat this year to 72.
On one hand, bloody hell, 72! I've played way more this year cos of WFH of course.
On the other hand, I mean 72 games, really??
And the thing is the majority of them are not experiences that are particularly noteworthy or memorable either; just fine and decent fare.

But it almost reminds me of bingeing and not swallowing your food, and that I need to get away from this mentality of feeling compelled to keep up with all of the new releases coming around and of trying to clear my backlog. Cos that's not fun, that's work.
In fact, has my backlog gotten any smaller this year? No, of course it bloody hasn't even with 72 games beat.

Think it's part of me getting older, but I think I really need to become more selective in what I spend my time with.
I'm likely saying stuff that is blindingly obvious to everyone but I felt the need to say it I suppose.
May spend more of my time watching anime  (not just saying that to wind up lashman, I've been getting back into anime in a big way lately and there's so much good stuff I've missed :coffee-blob:)

I thought that was removed since it wasn't on the store page yesterday when I checked. That was probably due to the store bug that was removing some games from sale for a few minutes.

Humble is good at preventing me from purchasing some games, especially with this $6 deal which should trickle on group buys for the next 5 months.

Unless every seller fakes paying $18 for premium when it comes to splitting.

But what about the devs' original vision? You dare to taint the purity of their work?

:evilblob:
Should I buy the Children of Morta Paws & Claws DLC where the proceeds go to charity to help cats and dogs? Yeah, that seems like ... like a good ... it's not on sale? I can't be expected to give to charity unless I get at least 30% off.

Please join me in rejecting this terrible deal:

Thanks for reminding me to get this on gog
A few more historical lows

All games for $6ish

Yeah I've come to the same place, I no longer need to play everything, I rather just play one game at the time in a slow pace.

Any of the Neptunia Rebirth DLCs worth it?

Wanted to try Rebirth 1 or maybe 2.

Virginia added to my library. Steam doesn't remove it from the wishlist.
Can't seem to be able to sell cards, either.

Well ok, fuck you.

Traditionally Steam shit the bed on the first evening. But that was without taking confinement into consideration it seems.

This single change made me go from "meh" on Nocturne HD to "I'll probably buy it day 1". As much as I like Nocturne, random skill inheritance always sucked. Now Atlus just needs to fix the slowdown and compressed music issues.

I miss my hand picked steam categories. People have zero grasp on what constitute an RPG (or surely most genres).
No, I'm not gatekeepinkg, yes, definitions are debatable.

But for fuck sake, Steam throws everything and the kitchen sink at me when I ask for an RPG.
I mean, Day Z.

It needs less random encounters mode and I'll get it day 1. Music in games is never an issue for me, heck I survived the infamous DQXI's midi music.

Pretty much all of the SMT games and spin offs could use a 25% as many encounters, +300% rewards mod.

Got my Meatboy Forever review code for EGS in my mail, forgot that I would receive one so I downloaded an arr copy this morning. Oh well, at least I didn't buy it on EGS. :p

There's so many games released these days and due to all the sales everywhere, giveaways and subscription services and knowing you an die anytime ( :p ), playing games these days for me is rather about time and not money, which is why I have gotten really picky about buying games.

Not to forget Netflix, HBO and Disney+ is also fighting for my time.
