Dangerous Driving 2 is the arcade racer for everyone, featuring slick driving that rewards racing fans wanting to test their lightning reflexes at eye watering speeds. Set within a dynamic open world, players can choose how they want to race, either by competing in a host of thrilling events against AI opponents or going for a cruise in freedrive mode and testing the limits of the game’s emergent crash mechanics with huge multi-vehicle pile-ups. This world can be explored solo or in split-screen multiplayer, while those looking to challenge the best drivers around the globe can take the action online.

Dangerous Driving 2 will truly be our best game yet—delivering new features our fans have been clamoring for such as Nintendo Switch support and split screen, building on the innovations we as game makers are passionate about including interactive music and emergent game modes as well as addressing the areas we weren’t happy with in the last game,”

That's quick. Hope they will bring the groundbreaking new feature of a soundtrack to this one instead of that Spotify integration.

We’ll be continuing to work with our friends over at Spotify to use Music in a few clever ways. But this time, we’ll also be adding a curated list of licensed music to the next game as well.

So even with war of the chosen xcom 2 is still weirdly demanding for my PC. The avenger base struggles to stay above 60fps and and the last story battle I did had dips to the high 40s. Is there a specific setting to turn down that's known for being really intensive?

Depth of Field, Anti Aliasing (MSAA!), Ambient Occlusion and Shadow Quality.
Dips below 60 in a slow, turn based game aren't the worst, but it is a rather hard to run game in general.

^What he wrote. If your NVidia card can do DSR, consider use that instead of the ingame AA.

Shadows for one thing. I know it's a straight and obvious answer, and you possibly already lowered it or set it to 0 but it was the first thing that came to mind ^^;

I think before I began I lowered shadows to high but I'll take another look later. It's definitely far more playable than the stuttery mess the original was but I also have a much better PC than I did then, as well as gsync. Just kind of shocked it's still that demanding.

Yeah, I'll never forget how betrayed I felt by the launch state of XCOM 2 when you factor in how absolutely hyped I was for release.

They def. did make good with WotC in regards to stability, but the game is still far from optimal.

Still one of the greatest TBS games of all time either way, but damn. Maybe my 2025 PC build will run it the way it's meant to be played.

I guess you could call it the Crysis of strat games.

I got it this time around.

Earth's Down is pretty fun from the 1 mission I played.

Hopefully it comes back again.

Who actually buys those mystery bundles? It's not even "good" like real gambling since cash is cash regardless of how you win. Even if you get a $60 retail game it could be one you don't even like.

Instead of doing my usual SotFS replay every year...I decided to also knock out some of the last couple of achievements for it that were hanging around.

Did the Lucatiel quest which was fun. The PVE late game is kind of dead with the exception of Ivory King and Blue Smelter. No other place summoned me so I can get my remaining sunlight medals. Maybe my Soul memory was too high (8-10 million) but yea..its not surprising since those 2 fights are ridiculously difficult solo. The falconeer droprate for the medals was ass too.

Also gotta knock on From for forcing people into NG++ to acquire the last couple of spells. Really unnecessary imo. At least they let you pick up the dead blue sentinel covenant spells in NG++. That entire process was poorly designed bleh.

Still an all around brilliant game. Incredible DLC and forever amazing Iron Keep portion. That area in NG++ is batshit insane 🥵.

220hrs in SotFS and another 62 in vanilla version. Can't say I'm done with it for sure. I think I might play it one more time leading up to Elden Ring :)

Ys: Oath in Felghana got an update today adding the English dub from the old console releases and the alternate soundtracks from the console versions.

and Ys: Memories of Celceta got updated to add the Japanese dub.

Both games are on sale as well.

(this also applies to the GOG versions, which are also on sale)

Is Celceta good? That and Seven are the only ones I don't have.
Seven, Celceta and Ys VIII are the newer Ys games where you control an actual party, and can switch between multiple characters.
Overall, I feel there is in terms of mechanics a refinement between each game, so Seven feels the "roughest", Celceta improves on many of its elements, and Ys VIII feels like the best game of these "party Ys" games.
Overall, I must say I prefer the older games, though it's more to do with certain design choices, rather than not liking the idea of having multiple playable characters. The Flash mechanics (flash guard, and flash move) to me feel overused and in boss fights like a lazy clutch. It also encourages bosses with super spongy life bars, were the game understands that you can use flash guards to cheese any normal fight so it makes things harder by just giving a boss 20 times the HP and much higher defence. It ends up feeling super unsatisfying, compared with the perfect boss fight you had in Ys Origin.
But to be fair here, I'm complaining on a very high level here. Even at its worst, Ys VIII (the best game of the party ones) is still amazing and fun. But it's not quite perfect, that's all I'm saying.

So overall, if you like Ys, go get them!

Oath in Felghana had VA? I guess the shouts of Adol could be counted as voice acting, but if so the Japanese ones were pretty good and neutral anyway

Thanks for the detailed info! I am playing through VIII right now so hopefully the other party-based games don't feel too dated afterwards.

Could it be for a sale?

Maybe just a leak for some early Spring Cleaning event?

If it is for Steam streaming I hope Valve doesn't go overboard with the pricing. 10$ per month at most pls.
No, sale packages don't usually contain links to game depots, it's just a full package that links to the data of said sale, not only data but also visual element, and while we know that Valve is working on a streaming service we just don't have the details.

Wonder if its related to the PAX East app that went up the other day
No, said package contains a brutal amount of totally different games from totally different publishers, things such as Fallout 4 or Ni No Kuni, to say a few.

This looks cool. Reminds me off Inside, Limbo and Little Nightmares:

Also, PC Gamer leaked (deleted now) that Bannerlord is coming to Steam and EGS for 50$. Good stuff, not exclusive and people have a choice where to buy it from.

This is a kid friendly video game

While not visible properly, it also lets me do Piledrivers.
I can't hate on this Bolt game much.

EDIT: Enhancing using NVidia Inspector results in a blurry image but I think it smoothens out a little better.

Yeah on PSP it was fully dubbed.
Yeah, just checked it out. Prefer it without voice acting, honestly. Seems super stiff during the intro already, can't imagine it getting better once things get more dramatic

I.... finished Bloodstained?
I defeated Gebel, the last boss? I am not sure, it ended so abruptly. Have I missed something? Even Miriam feels that something is missing

If you're where I think you are, you may want to google it to see what to do next. It's kind of confusing.
