The hell does that mean?

Minecraft is the heaviest hitter not on Steam. There was a leak in 2024 that mentioned a Steam version of Minecraft but nothing came from it (until now?)

Yeah Minecraft would probably be Microsoft's heaviest hitter and I could see them finally putting it on Steam. Maybe throw in some of the older Blizzard games not on Steam like Starcraft 1/2, Warcraft 1-3, Diablo 1-3 since those are some pretty heavy hitters. I would also like to see some of their PC games on PC but not currently on Steam as well like Halo Wars 2 and Halo 5.

Ilomilo or we riot!!!

Thanks for the thread, lash!

Despite being buried under stuff I want to play, I'll probably cave and buy Resident Evil Requiem closer to launch. I usually allow myself one "stupid AAA game purchase at full price" to celebrate getting a new GPU, and RE9 looks like as good a candidate as any (esp given that I'm an RE4 nut).

Stupid sexy Leon... :face-with-open-mouth-and-cold-sweat:

Will also likely pick up Proud Nordics, assuming decent regional pricing, to support Durante.:cat-heart-blob:

My first (of many probably :evilblob: ) interview of the month is up on RPG Site. I spoke to the team at Shinra Archaeology Department to discuss the Shinra Archaeology Cut retranslation + restored content mod, consistency in translations with the whole FF7 series, the challenges involved with bringing the mod to the PS1 version, and much more. (Also I installed it to check on Deck myself for the photo).

Fucking page 2, shame on me :anguished-face:

That being said, I came to sing the gospel of Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road. I get the feeling it wasn't noticed that much but it's a very good little rogue lite. Though, I can believe people saying it's a grind (duh !), it gets too hard even with the grind, and there is only 4 biomes.

But it's fun !

I looked at Pinball FX because they seem to be the license holders to Williams pinballs.
Now, I don't give a fuck about pinball, but for curio's sake, I wanted to play Gorgar, Swords of Fury, Embryon, Cosmic Gunfight, and Centaur, which are going to be adapted into TTRPG. Don't ask, some people do hard drugs.

I think they only have Swords of Fury. I hereby labeled Pinball FX as trash of the highest order. I'm fair.

Looking at the amount of followers and "wishlist activity" it had post announcement/pre-release, I'm really surprised by how badly Code Vein 2 did, especially compared to the peak CV1 had all those years ago. There must have been a serious fuck up here, either for the performance issues, the price, the changes compared to the original (lack of multiplayer component, more "alien looking" NPCs, weird pseudo realistic anime artstyle), or because Nioh 3 is releasing so close to it
This is probably the first major failure for 2026

How satisfying is it when you stumble across a game that you have no knowledge of, take a peak at the store page, read a couple of reviews and decide to take a punt on it only for it to be an absolute gem.
I was just perusing the new releases and this came popped up....

Only played a couple of hours but can already tell its right up my street.

I put the blame entirely on no co-op.

Not because I genuinely believe that it 10o% failed because of lack of co-op, but because I want to believe that :P

(And to be fair, I know exactly 3 people in real life who are even remotely in the target audience for these types of games, and of those, 0 bought it as-is and 2 would have bought it if it had co-op; I asked my computer and that's an INF% increase in sales)
