Sad to say that Digimon Survive crashes on Steam Deck too but once you pass that cinematic, it runs flawlessly, so hopefully BN will push an update.
My hope for a Class of Heroes HD localization and release on Steam has increased significantly
Today is Creator Day at itch.io, so they don't take any cuts from sales and it all goes to devs. Looking through games with Steam keys included right now to pick up one or two cheap ones..
I saw people reporting that they had to uninstall their codec packs to get it to pass the cinematic.
need to clean up a couple of things in MH rise before i starr digimon survive, gonna purchas and download it later though
There's a 2nd cinematic a bit after which also has the same problem, but after that it has been smooth sailing other a few minor issues:
Most of the button glyphs are broken and LT and RT aren't working (which are funnily enough the ones without broken glyphd). Can be fixed by mapping them to the keyboard equivalents via Steam Input and I can live with seeing some white boxes instead of buttons. I'm thinking they tried implementing Steam Input natively and fucked up, so the glyphs are broken (and LT and RT don't work because they didn't implement them with Steam Input, which is why they have working glyphs).
Sounds easy enough to patch, so hopefully we don't have to wait too long.
As for the game itself. I'm liking it a hell of a lot. Potentially more than Cyber Sleuth. I like the evolution system being more straight forward.
Game looks and sounds really pretty, the story and characters are interesting so far and battles are fine.

Am I the only one? Literally get stucked in a white screen after prologue cutscene. I also tried to skip the cutscene and it still freeze
Looks like Steam and other gaming services were just blocked in Indonesia due to new government regulations.
From reading up on the topic, it looks like it is Valve's fault because they didn't register in the country. Blizzard registered and Battle.net still works.
Could be a deliberate choice by Valve to wait on this.
Looking at this article, Indonesia requires formal registration of tech and game companies, it seems like registration might also legally leave them open to some rather vague defined "access to user data", as well as open them up to lawsuit for distributing content that is seen to "disrupt public order".
I imagine they will ultimately register, but they might want to properly investigate what exactly these new laws mean for Steam and what regulatory burdens and risks it puts on them. Worst case, they might decide to leave the market and just let people use VPNs.
Usability wise, so far looks like it's only a simple dns blocking. Getting around it it's pretty easy and I just bought something to test and I can still pay using "DANA" which is a local payment that steam added recently.
It's terrible news still. Don't like where the censorship is heading in my country is all I'm gonna say.
The global rise of fascism is honestly real scary. Indonesia is far away from me, but I can imagine a time in the future where this could happen anywhere.

Late to the hardware discussion but I got nothing but good to say about Logitech personally.
G502 is a legendary mouse, sturdy, long lasting and you can make it heavy or light with the included weights. Up to 25k dpi, 11 buttons, and it doesn't break the bank at just $40.
My Logitech G Pro mechanical keyboard is comfy and clicky. 3 years in, no stuck keys, no ghosting, and the keyboard lighting is still strong for easy visibility.
Speakers? Can't beat the Logitech Z623 in their price range. THX certified, loud as fuck, with a punchy subwoofer, and durable construction.
Oh, and Logitech's software is actually useful and not annoying.

I don’t know how collectathlons went from a joy to a chore, but here we are. And as silly as that may sounds at first, I truly think a little more comedic plot could have helped. The writing here is minimum and just serves as the barest excuse to traverse the world, period.
Just think, a real action adventure game with emphasis on comedic writing, setpieces etc. A playable cartoon. Boom.
But no, obviously, let’s make a collect 3000 shiny orbs thing with passable mood, what do I know.
The best I will give it is that it tempts me to watch the source material which I’m just familiar with.

I love logitech mice and never had a bad one. I used to have Logitech surround speakers which were also great and only got replaced because I needed something with more inputs.
I got the G600 mouse which is the MMO one. Maybe a few too many side buttons for my fat fingers but I use some of them. The third mouse button next to left/right click is the button I cannot live without. I bought spare G600s because I was scared they were going to discontinue it.
Does anyone know if there are other mice that have like three buttons in a row like left click button, right click button, even further right click button?
I'm pretty sure every Logitech mice I bought (plus any I received under warranty) developed double clicking issues but stuck with them due to how quick and lenient their warranty process is. That had to be nearly 10 mice over a ~20 year period. The latest were two G305 mice, one was likely double clicking out of the box but I didn't fully notice and its replacement did the same about a year later. I use the MX Vertical, seems like its built like a brick and lasts 3 months per charge.

I switch pretty often between a trackball (MX Ergo) and a vertical mouse. The MX vertical is awesome!
Edit Speakers: Just get some bookshelf speakers, I have some Edifiers connected to a dac, they sound awesome. Skip anything "gaming".

With Bamco doing 0 marketing I didn't think it would reach so many players
I feel like the game is gonna keep selling decently especially once actual reviews get out and word of mouth gets around, because honestly it's pretty dang great.
