Big large yikes there brehs. Oh and one of them is bricking consoles that are a lot of money if that's your one console EXTRA BIG YIKES BREHS

That's kind a lot tbh to process. Borderlands 2 is a traumatizing thing tbh, I could'nt get anyone to play with and single player succked.

Anyone else hoping this ain't Borderlands 3? Maybe something different? Different strokes for different folks but this whole tide of shlooters or whatever may actually be more traumatizing (in a gaming hobbyist way) more then like mobas and CoD frenzy.

You have Warframe there and it's free and the community ain't godawful and that's on multiple consoles

Also for all you EDF players just starting: The in-game AA is broken. You need to overwrite it with graphics card AA if you want to get rid of jaggies.
I always wondered why the aliasing was so bad despite AA being ticked... Welp.

And I'm not even saying Valve is wrong to start banning stuff like that, but fine then, at least be consistent and clear instead of leaving everyone (devs included) in the dark. It also doesn't explain why Valve even bans ALL AGES versions where all the adult content has been removed to the point where they get passed cert even on consoles.
What even is the point of Valve letting adult content on the store if they aren't gonna stick to the rules they set in the first place?

Oh, they definitely need to be more transparent (at least to the devs). And they need to be more consistent.
Buy you also have to remember that the world seems to be run by a bunch of angry lashmans (that recent UN resolution, etc), so games like Kindred Spirits are probably way more dangerous from a legal standpoint to Valve now than they were a few years ago.
Also, there's a known, working way to handle your displeasure at Valve (well, better than writing forum posts at least) - just sent a letter to Gabe, stating your case. I've been meaning to do so, but RL just takes way too much of my time. :\

The thing that's frustrating about Anthem is that good shlooters already exist.

Destiny 2 exists, Borderlands 2 existed, The Division 2 is about to exist, Warframe exists

Hell you even have examples of bad games in the genre like Battleborn

There's no excuse in 2019 to not know what makes people enjoy these games.

I don't know how the settings are called for Nvidia, but for my AMD card I went into the game-specific profile and changed the Anti-Aliasing select to "Override Application Settings" or something similar and then selected the type of AA (just left it at Multisampling) and put the modifier to x4.

Alas such a method doesnt work with the respective nvidia tool i use due to it being a dx11 game.

yeah, unfortunately the only AA that works for DX11+ games in the nvidia control panel is FXAA

...Huh. It's usually AMD that is lacking features.
In that case you would probably have to use Reshade.

but the answer that's probably closest to being true is that volvo doesn't really care as in: it's probably a feature barely anyone uses, so they just put it there that one time and forgot about it

Finished Glass Masquerade 2 last night, took me about 11-12 hours to complete all puzzles on hard difficulty. Really liked it, I hope they'll continue to make these

Little disappointing that D:OS 2 inconsistent with it's game rules, like in one escort mission you can use the teleport triangles but not in another just because how someone designed the quest and not letting it be too easy. I mean if I want it to be easy let me!

I really need a few more EGS exclusives to be announced, otherwise I'm not sure my wallet will survive.

Plus, I keep hearing how I, as a Steam user, will rage and stuff will all of their exclusives, so I'm still waiting for something to get me truly upset.
I lie, they already made me rage: when they announced the return of the Unreal Tournament franchise, and then abandoned it. If only the team at Epic that was working on the franchise managed to get a money hat to become an EGS exclusive...

Thankfully, I'm at a phase where I'm enjoying going through my backlog, and playing the games I bought, but for some reason completely forgot about them.
Next one: I'm finally starting The Council.

I mostly just shrug and forget about those games.

Yeah, it's been more or less my reaction.
But, instead of being disappointed with the developers that are pulling these moves, I prefer to instead support even more the developers that thankfully still treat me right as a customer, and offer good post-launch support, free content updates and DLCs, and offer their games on as many platforms as they can.

I was extremely hyped when they announced it and watched the first few trailers but since then I've been on kind of a media-blackout regarding it and now my hype is gone and I'll probably get it later, lol.
Part of the reason is also that I'm starting to feel the age of my PC when it comes to some new AAA games and I'm planning on upgrading it in the near future, which means I'm less likely to buy DMC5 right now because I want to experience it in all its glory

Talking about upgrading, do you guys have any suggestions? I don't want to go really high end/really expensive.
I have an AMD R9 290 and an i5 4670K.
I think I'm might mostly feel the CPU in newer games, it only has 4 cores without hyperthreading.
But maybe that's only because the last 2 big games I struggled with were Monster Hunter World and Dragon Quest 11, which are known to be quite demanding (MHW more so).

But the developer, because supposedly there were illegal keys around (whatever that means), simply went, and revoked all of them. Thankfully, they say "We understand your victimization".
