Ye gods, unbelievably awesome shit. Game of the decade.
Itsuno the Absolute Madman.
Now I just need to play it a second time with the live action cutscenes, do all the secret missions and murder all the bosses again to see Nero's Buster finishers on them and I want to have fun with the awesomeness you unlocked at the end.

it would make sense to release all their old stuff on steam, gog and whatever else ... not like they're selling tonnes of copies of those ... they're probably not convincing people to use their subscription either (just those old games, i mean)
but then again - corporations rarely do what makes sense

Now you just get the gog/whatever version, install this over it and are good to go. Though since gog included NewDark the games were ok out of the box.

I thought Square Enix added Denuvo to FFX/X2, but it was always online DRM. Still a bad move. Why did they do that. Looks like the new version of the game also made nearly all mods non-working
I dont think it needs a remake as i think it already got one? Besides for historic snd preservation purposes they could make the original available just to get an idea of what they were able to pull off on the gb's hardware.

My copy of FFX HD is fucked now. Can't run SpecialK and therefore can forget about HD mods and/or dual audio. I had just about enough fuckery in this hobby.

(and it seems like it's a bigger deal with them ... not for just this one game .... My Friend Pedro also "mysteriously" switched from specifically mentioning steam to just "PC" in the newest trailer ... so Metal Wolf Chaos will probably be included in that deal as well)
