If you want the older GTA games, look up gg.deals or such website to see where the keys can be bought from :shrugblob:

Anyways I finished deathloop. GOTY contender for sure for me. It's not that difficult a game, but it WILL be demanding if you ain't got the recommended specs.
I did, the cheapest price for GTA Vice City is for Rockstar launcher...

Yeah I got the GTA Trilogy Steam key from G2A. No idea how these remasters will be like but I like to have the originals just in case.

I thought I'd done that, but nope....."The Rockstar Collection - June 2011 - £27.99"
Bought mine in 2014 from an external site I forgot. It was really cheap and only did it because it included the first 2 games too, unlike the steam version at that time.

I considered getting the trilogy now that it's being removed. Enjoyed VC and SA when I was younger. But also I've had no desire to play those for all the years they've been on the store, and, realistically, I probably still won't play them after buying. So I think I'll be ok without. Unless they're discounted to like 5 euros total in which case I will be much less reasonable...

Also, I'm still playing Undertale. On my true pacifist run after I goofed myself into the neutral ending. I really like what the game's going for, even if it runs a bit too long for my taste. Didn't quite hit me the same way it seemingly did for many others, but that's alright.

So those old GTA games are not even gonna be on EGS?

lmao.

Sweeney must have made a shit offer to Rockstar.

So probably they put em on Steam a month later like RDR2.

As I'm sure most people noticed already (since it appears on Steam's front page), there's a new event, with demos, streams, and a sale, dedicated to Eastern European games:

Among the various games listed, allow me to mention Shores Unknown, a game I own, that's currently on Early Access, and shows a lot of promise.
It's currently having its biggest discount yet, and it has recently received a significant content update.

How many times are they going to release the same game lmao
I think this is based on the PSP version that had more content. The version already on Steam is an older version that's inferior so I welcome this new one, personally. The shitty version for the first game was pretty much the only thing keeping me from jumping in tbh.

Team Secret utterly destroyed by Team 🐘 .

Tomorrow, with the Romanian time-zone:

The most interesting games should be... everything that is on stream A. With my time-zone:
  • 9 a.m. EG vs. OG
  • 11 a.m. LGD vs. VG
  • 1 p.m. OG vs. UND
  • 3 p.m. VG vs. BC
  • 5 p.m. EG vs. VP

Its based on the PS4/Switch ports of the 3DS port of the PSP remake of the PC remake.

Ridiculous I know but the PS4/Switch versions have new content not present in the previous versions and the 3DS version does too, so its important to note lol

MGN Indie Game Carnival is an online event held by a Steam-specific influencer @Steamparty who has 1.15 million followers. The event focuses specifically on selected indie titles on Steam.

MGN mini (Later it was called WGN) is a sub-project of MGN indie game carnival, similar to Nintendo Direct Mini. It aims to help partners increase the frequency of promotion. It will be held at a quarterly frequency.

I think I already asked this some time ago, but where would you put the Deck CPU in the available line ? I mean, I have a Ryzen 2600x, would the Deck be more powerful ?

Deck's CPU is a Zen 2 4 core 8 threads which would be a Ryzen 3300. Not sure if it has any customizations, I'd assume so.

Explain? Is DD2 different from the first?
I know PC Gamer but, they did a series of interviews or what have you explaining things:

In Red Hook's first game, surviving a 40-plus-hour campaign meant putting dozens of heroes through the grinder and watching them go insane, then replacing them with fresh meat. Darkest Dungeon 2 wants you to care more about your flawed heroes. It's keeping the idea of quirks and stress creating unexpected, sometimes maddening surprises. But this time you'll be managing a party of only four heroes on a roguelike run to an ominous mountain, a brisk five hours if you survive the journey. Shorter runs will hopefully be more inviting for players intimidated by the first game's enormous campaign.
There's more there and in other places but yeah it's pretty much going to be totally different

A bit old, but yessss gimme.
I wonder, does anyone know what framework the current Steam Big Picture is made in? I wouldn't be surprised if Valve cooked it up themselves.

I was checking that Eastern European games event, and there's a lot of cool looking stuff, like:

And... some really weird stuff.
I mean, I'm not sure what this exactly is, but I think I want it. :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:
(do watch the trailer in full)

And this is not even the most crazy looking game from this developer.
This is apparently his version of a Castlevania game:

As of this day when ever I fell out an online form and it asks me my highest education, I will no longer have to select "some college" I can now select college degree.....

I didn't know about it, I knew I was just one class away from my degree and the college even cold me to let me know they would pay to have cover the class for me.

Also the best part is that I don't have a student debt.

So yeah.

I personally don't think brilliant is how I would have called my experience when I played closed beta but I must admit I had much fun.
On the other hand is PCGamer who have become more like hit or miss on everything regarding gaming journalism.

I think Nabs is probably aware of this but just in case to be safe.

Found this through gg.deals. There'd be an extra USD/GBP 1 fee for using paypal, but if you want to add them to your steam library, here's the one option

Or you could you know
realize it is 2021
Rockstar and Take 2 aren't getting any poorer for the next decade
and just grab them off the net
Not like these games get an update every other month anyways
so this new one makes this one completely redundant then?

As has been stated in the posts after the one you quoted
yes it makes that version redundant.

EDIT: I should elaborate better
The initial pc release on gog, humble and steam of Corpse Party is based on an older version of the game
One could play that ver. if they want to see what a '1.0' ver. of this game is like

This new one is based on the PSP ver. that released some 10 years ago. PSP ver. got ported to various other platforms, and is now being offered on modern pc platforms.

Congrats. Now you will realized that often that degree means nothing or almost nothing in this world today XD

And I may or may not bought Guardians of the Galaxy and I mean that in literally XD I bought Nvidia promo code from Canada and I am waiting friend from US to try to activate it for me just in case there is region lock XD

So we will see how this Schrödinger's key situation will unfold later today XD

PC-98 was a PC the same way PS4 is a PC.
Completely different hardware/ISA other than the CPU.
Not sure, they were both open platforms, as I said, from the 90s on people did put Windows or MS-DOS on these machines. The PS4 on the other hand is a completely locked down device that you first need to jailbreak to potentially start using like a PC.

To me "PC" isn't just something that's limited to "IBM PC", even though that did become the dominant form of PCs everywhere.

Yeah, okay, let me rephrase that.
PC-98 is a PC the same way C64 or X68000k are PCs.

The Last Campfire, the latests game that releases on Steam but doesn't put the Mac version on Steam for some reason. I still don't fully understand since many games with Mac versions don't put that version on Steam.

Sure I don't know how things are done but I seriously doubt it is that hard? Do the devs just not care?

Get a Windows PC. Or a Steam Deck (if you are in a country you can order one).

:p
