Oooof. You know things are bad when God of War has really bad regional price over here... and it still the second cheapest one globally.

I will control myself and wait for a sale.... probably.... maybe.....

This game feels like it will be a bit of a sleeper hit to me (feels weird saying that with a Marvel property).
I think avengers made people weary and the game also didn't have the best first showing, but music seems great, art direction looks exeptional. Maybe it's just that I enjoy the work that the Deus Ex team does and believe they will knock it out the park.
I have it preordered and am looking forward to it. Hoping that the gameplay is more focused on exploration than what they have shown. It would be kind of a waste if the Deus Ex team delivered a straight-up action game

Is anyone going to even be interested in Cyberpunk by the time it releases on current gen consoles? It seems they have done very little to improve the game so I can't imagine that will overcome the overwhelmingly negative word of mouth.
I am more worried about W3, you don't hpe up release for this year just few weeks ago and then do 6+ month delay. Nobody expects anything from CP2077, but W3 is loved across the board.

I want to replay God of War because playing it on PS Now felt like such a compromised experience but mostly I'm just glad this and Uncharted will soon be out of the way so they can finally move on to games I'm actually excited to play. Bring on Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima!

Bloodborne too, obviously, but that's never coming. :upside-down-face:

The DLC/expansions will probably coincide with next gen console release. That will be the selling point for sure.

So yea I absolutely can't wait to replay it with more content.

Poland is screwed once again to no one's surprise, but I am still willing to buy it day 1 if the port is good.

I've been playing some Rogue Legacy 2 as it got a lot of updates since the last time I played.

It still is in early access and there is constant balancing, but the game already plays really well and it feels like a proper follow up to the previous game. The few levels I went through already felt more diverse than the first game.

Oh noes! Another walking sim instead of Bloodborne!

It's a fun game combat-wise but the story is a bunch of nonsense unfortunately... What didn't you like about it?

I hate being constantly on the clock and having to be at specific locations at specific times. Started a quest but to trigger it I have to come at 6pm but right now it's midnight. Fuck that.
Also can't get rid of the stuttering and the story is just beyond the pale at this point.

I appreciate this. Everyone should have an opportunity to play M&M X.

I dunno why anyone would buy a CDPR game again after this clusterfuck. They released a barely functioning game to cash in and so far it’s been one year of only marginal improvements.
I realize that some people are very disappointed and had different expectations, and also that the situation was worse on console than PC, but calling Cyberpunk (on PC) "barely functioning" is bullshit.

God of War on PC, Sony keeps winning. Honestly more than Microsoft has in like... The whole time they started doing day-and-date PC ports. Good games, man.

Ehhhh, depends on what you're looking for but one has to have a very specific taste to not find something to enjoy in MS' recent lineup, which imo has become quite diverse and of good quality. I'd argue that for many AoE4 later this month will be a much bigger deal than anything Sony can bring to the table. For me personally Forza Horizon 5 is be the big one and there's also Halo Infinite. If they make that one work 2021 could actually end up being a great year for MS.

And I've not even touched Psychonauts 2 yet.

The Wario tweet specified ‘current gen’ so that’s why I called it that.

My tastes are a bit specific I guess, but I do find some things from Microsft good, namely Psychonauts and Forza Horizon. But a lot of it's kind of meh. Gears is pretty bland, Halo sucks, many other games fall into niches I can't get into like metroidvanias or survival games, and my brain hates strategy and tactics games.
...
TBH it does feel like Microsoft is very specifically publishing games I don't like, which bugs me because I want to like what they're doing with being more hands-off with their games and gamepass. But between the games themselves and refusing to acknowledge issues with their PC storefront they're making that really, really difficult.

I really enjoyed Graveyard Keeper back at release, though I did find it a bit too grindy to stick with it for the long haul.

Wonder if they ever did a balance patch regarding that.
Did they ever finish it? The lets play I watched of the "release" version had several unfinished sections

That's a damn good question.

I remember there being some hubub about an NPC mentioning an entirely different map location that was never in the base game, like "The Big City" or something, but I don't think that was ever intended to be a playable area.

People got pretty twisted about it though.

This looks cool (searched for the name here, didn't find, though naturally links/embeds wouldn't be discovered). Very Ghibli style.
