Hello wonderful Flow Weaver players! We can't believe it's been over 2 years since we launched Flow Weaver, and we continue to be overwhelmed by the number of people enjoying our game. In fact, that ongoing support has allowed us, over the last couple of years, to continue to put some time and...
I won't be here or watching live but check later for the actually new stuff (not trailers for games we've seen more than enough of if they're only done to have something exclusive - if that - for the showcase or to promote upcoming ports, which are cool to get but we already know what to expect).
We’ve teamed up with Upload VR for a bundle of VR games including Arizona Sunshine Deluxe Edition, The Break-In, Cooking Simulator VR, and more!. Pay what you want & support buildOn!

So, there was a TON of stuff so I edited below with what I think a) wasn't part of it b) was an actual release of something just so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle, of course it's far from the biggest stuff shown (like DEFY!!!) so watch the thing/read the UVR article detailing all that was shown there.
Oculus Studios Senior Producer Mari Kyle is back with a new dev diary focused on some otherworldly disturbances in the game: Cosmic Events and Loki Anomalies.

Pond Scum looks like a fun indie platformer, don't ignore it just because of a plain release tweet, I posted a trailer earlier on Dec 11 but there's no new one now.
I want to play some non-VR games in VR, but I’m not a fan of any sort of conversion. I just want a big screen that has depth to it. I hacked my 3DS recently and got to appreciate the 3D effect, and I think it’d be pretty cool for PC games too.
Any programs out there which do that? Or is it just vorpX?

It's been a long road, but we're finally here.
This is the initial release of UEVR, a universal tool for enabling VR in UE4 and UE5 games.
The MechWarrior 5 mod is a neat (first?) case of a mod made to work alongside Praydog's UEVR injector as that handles the VR rendering functions and what not but the game has been further modified to accomodate VR best with new cockpits, 3D HUD and other gameplay & visual elements. Can't wait for more
Readyverse Studios is laying the groundwork to bring the promise of the open metaverse depicted in Ernest Cline’s "Ready Player One" novel and the blockbuster film adaptation into a multi-world, multi-IP open metaverse experience.
It's a bit of a mess to get a game running, and I hate it when it tries to make a game something it's not (aka turning a game designed for a screen into a game that can be played as a "full fat" VR game), but the theatre mode is exactly what I wanted out of a 3D conversion.
Take a game, stick it on a big ass screen, make it 3D. It's pretty awesome. £35 is a lot for just that, but you know what? It works. On some games. I definitely recommend giving it a look, because the extra depth of your games in 3D is pretty cool. It kinda reminds me of how excited I was by 3D on the 3DS back in the day.
Cool stuff, though personally I'm in this hobby for the spatial gaming (lol) and other platforms seem more fully featured towards that aspect of XR and are more budget friendly to boot (yet I'm still just saving up, lol). But you can't ignore Apple I guess, even if this clearly isn't aiming to be the next iPhone, maybe Mac Pro.
I haven't posted much cos there wasn't so much actual game stuff but today there's a couple cool things so I'll bunch it up with a selection from the past days.
TOKYO, January 9, 2024 - Sony Corporation announced development of an immersive spatial content creation system, which includes a head-mounted display equipped with high-quality OLED Microdisplays*2 and video see-through function, and a pair of controllers optimized for intuitive interaction...
Hello explorers! Today we’ll delve into some of the locations of ITR2. Let’s start with the world structure. In ITR1 there were separate locations linked by pathways. They were of different sizes, and would gradually interconnect with increase in difficulty and time spent in the Radius. The...
More emulation releases for VR are always good, CitraVR wasn't what I expected but sweet! The 2.0 update mentioned for Arcade Time Capsule is available too! I imagine you already know about EmuVR but if not just google for that and enjoy it too. VR does everything, it brings the future & revives the past as well!
Also, this guy putting a variety of full OS on Quest. Somehow. Pretty impressive but I don't have a way to try it and see performance and utility, go check it out.
Cheers to new beginnings! The new year is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time to jump into some new immersive adventures. Save up to 45% off on dozens of titles during the Start Something New Sale, now through 11:59 pm PT on January 28.* Here’s just a sample of what’s on offer.

Hello explorers! ITR was originally designed to have gameplay and story closely interwoven. The game avoids separation into purely cinematic story cutscenes and interactive gameplay episodes. Players are always engaged in the gradual unravelling of the story in every moment of the game. However...
